If anyone in here doesnt know. Ernie Johnson has been battling a major bout with cancer for more than a decade, maybe two. This is very sad to hear that Shaq's sister. My deepest sympathies

NGL I teared up watching these guys talk about Shaq. You just feel the love that these guys have for Shaq and his family and its beautiful to see. I hope that Shaq sees how much the people around him care about him. Praying for the big family man's family.

man, can we be honest about sisters..they don't care about their brothers, they only care about their boyfriends, baby fathers, husbands. that's it. basically, whomever theyre fvcking, is the only guys they care about. every other guy can kick rocks, including their brothers, father, cousins..they don't care about blood at all, & every other guy is a lame. I mean rest up but, let's not act like sisters really care about family. the moment they hit puberty, theyre tryna leave the family & go join their boyfriends family name, they can't wait to leave.

I’m so sorry to hear this Big Guy!!! Everyone who knows anything about you should know how much your family means to you. I lost my little brother 9yrs ago, I can say as time goes by, if you focus on the time you were in each other’s lives and you think about all the good times and you think about how blessed you were to have each other and that you had a great relationship, you will be able to smile again! Please concentrate on the good and keep being a blessing to as many people as you can. We all love you!!!

@Samuel Thompson well unfortunately it is true in many cases. Without knowing the specifics for Shaqs sister I still know from experience in my family that fighting such a brutal disease can be really exhausting and death can become some kind of relief for the person directly impacted by it. Those cancer therapies are really tough man. Of course you would rather see your friend/sister/mother/father/brother make it and get healthy again but when they fight it as hard as they can and it doesn't get better you have to accept it and hope that at least they can die in peace and without too much pain

@Samuel Thompson the only misguidance here is on your end. Cancer is no joke. Chemotherapy is no joke. Radiotherapy is no joke. Chemtheropeutic medications are no joke. She most definitely is in a better state now that she is not physically suffering.

Kolu Laser I wouldn’t want anyone to say that about me. It diminish the struggle, as if it wasn’t worth it. The thing is that the ”better state” is nothingness if you don’t believe in an afterlife. It good to not feel serious pain, but to not feel anything, ever again? She was young. I don’t know her situation, but theoretically the pain wouldn’t have been around if it was possible for her to live her lifetime

Well i do believe in afterlife, and thats why in these situations, I pray to the Lord that either they be healed and have them recover, or that He takes them with Him. By faith the loved ones left behind know she is now living the best life.

jeez. thoughts and best wishes to Shaq and his family. 40 is such a young age. my friends and I lost someone recently who was 38 and was in better shape than the both of us. it's tough to know someone, let alone a family member, pass away at such an early age. Much Love, Shaq Fu
