G’day Karl. Wilbinga is great for testing out your 4x4 skills on the sand and as long as you lower your tyre pressures, take it easy and have basic recovery gear. Lancelin is good as well. There are also some Perth based 4WD Training courses which are good also to get some expect tips before you tackle anything serious.
