In today's video, we mix it up a bit and end up discussing our top five favorite restaurants located at The Villages, Florida. There are so many restaurants to eat at in The Villages, and we have eaten at around 30 restaurants at The Villages. It was tough to just choose five but we managed to do it. Hands down the best restaurant, and value, in The Villages is Sakura, a Japanese restaurant with some of the freshest Japanese food we have ever had. Their bento box lunches are so good and for $15 are impossible to beat. Try it.

I'm surprised Bluefin wasn't even on your list. It's my favorite Villages restaurant. We've eaten there many times and never been disappointed DELICIOUSNESS!

We really liked #1 a lot too 😍😀😉 We will have to try out McGrady’s Pub & the Lighthouse Bar & Grill. Jim’s birthday was Saturday & I took him to VKI Japanese Steak House @ Sumter Landing. The food was delicious at the hibachi table, especially the scallops!! Service was great too!! Keep those fantastic reviews coming!!

Do you follow The Village’s Newcomers “, Linda & Jerry ? They are fantastic and provide excellent information about life in the villages . You can always learn a lot from their comment section . I live in Jupiter and my brother lives in the villages .. l just found this young couple ( on this video ) and they do an excellent job with the village’s restaurants ( even if l don’t always agree ) … The Flying Biscuit does have incredible grits . If you like your biscuits a bit more baked .. just ask the waitress and she will look for a browner biscuit.

Love the Flying Biscuit learned it from your video. Now I go there once a week for breakfast. I get the waffle breakfast my favorite, potatoes inside of grits. It was a great waffle I make my own waffle at home there’s is a match to mine.

My wife was a very good cook, a gourmet cook but she always made me make waffles. Everyone likes them and I don’t know why. A friend’s wife wanted the recipe. I said it on the Bisquick box and the only thing I do different is add 2 eggs instead of 1 then add pecans to the batter. The second egg makes it stand up better and Fluffier. That’s all I do differently.

Agree, Loved the Flying Biscuit!! I had never had grits either but LOVED them!! Have you tried Napoleo's yet off of 301? We have heard great things about their Italian food but have not been yet. We will have to go try Roberto's Never been. Thanks so much for your reviews!

I know i already have commented on this older video, on The Flying Biscuit is my home for breakfast. They give a punch card after you pay for your 7th meal you get the 8th free I’m on my 9th punch card I’ve only lived here for 2 years, that doesn’t count for the times I didn’t know about the card. Needless to say I’m well known there also I give a generous tip.

One Add on... The Rose Plantation in Fruitland Park. It's expensive and something that I would reserve for a special occasion like an Anniversary. Oh and dress up... not a dress code but it's not the type of place to go looking like a slouch..

We enjoy your channel, but I am lost on this list. Not one country club mentioned? Most of our best meals have been at one of the CC's. Our number one restaurant is at Nancy Lopez CC. One of our worst meals was at City Fire. Where is Harvest? Where is Prima Italian Steakhouse? I'm sorry - a pizza joint is number one?

Hello! A couple things: 1) This video is labeled our top 5 restaurants. With that being said, these are the ones that we enjoy. Everyone is free to choose their own top 5; those may be different than ours, which is totally fine! Everyone has a right to their own favorites. 2) Our top five consists of only the places we have filmed and been to. If you have followed our channel for a little while, you can see that there is not a video at a country club, Nancy Lopez CC, or Prima Italian Steakhouse. So those wouldn't be included. 3) Roberto's is an authentic Italian restaurant that many people told us to go to. Once we went, it was amazing. After posting this video, we can say that a large number of viewers agreed and also have gone, based off of this recommendation, and have greatly enjoyed it. With that being said, we appreciate the support and the views and everyone is free to decide what place is their favorite! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the compliment! As far as the audio goes, we both are using a mic on the table and have spoken with several people who have said the audio sounded great and they could hear us loud and clear. A solution for you to try would be to try it on another device. On our end, our volume levels are high and even in our editing software, our voices are equally picked up so we would recommend making sure your volume is up all the way and try another device.

I like FB waffles, do not like chicken sausage, never had luck at Light House, City Fire was okay, we like Red Sauce pizza. Taste in food is subjective we think McCalls chicken is over rated.

Agree with Roberto's - I eat there 1x month. McGrady's - sucks, over priced, over rated and NOTHING - NOTHING like a traditional Pub - not even close.
