Damn. You two lucked out HUGE. I’ve never seen a place like this at that budget in Toronto. It’s unheard of. Beautiful!

I love the stark white walls throughout with minimal stuff hanging on them. One of the loveliest things I ever saw happened when in college. An Austrian student I knew used to live in a visually similar type of a place to yours (hers was built in the 1920s if I recall correctly) with beautiful white walls. Anyway, the one stylistic touch of hers that I still remember was the use of dried flowers (red roses, for instance) in small bundles tied with wire or twine and hanging from a tiny nail. It was about the only thing she had hanging on the wall in a huge foyer and it was so beautiful. The effect was one of such minimalist simplicity that it really caused a kind of transformative shift in my thinking with regard to decoration. Indeed, less is more, simple is always best, down-to-earth materials are timeless, and a plain white wall is its own conversation piece, etc. You get the gist. Plus she had a green velvet settee which I was instantly reminded of by one of the pieces I saw on the tour of your home, adding to the vintage bohemian vibe. Your decorative approach reminds me so much of her style. Well done.

The apartment is lovely and all will come together in time, you have made a great start and are so lucky to have that backyard.......Miso is beautiful and I’m sure loves being able to run in and out.....do be careful at night when you are out as it isn’t a great area, but the whole city isn’t a great area right now so there you go..........enjoy the rest of that great weather...............

Omg you live so close to my son who is on Lansdowne between Bloor and College. Love walking that area. Love the beaches the restaurants etc. Toronto is a great walking city...and Sunnyside beach is a bonus......come to think of it I may have seen you two on the beach when I was there in July.
