Texas Native here…. When you get brisket, ask for the moist cut. It has more fat than the lean cut and will be more tender. 👌🏻

Looks like you guys had a blast! Everyone keeps talking about the TX heatwave but you made it look like a breeze. Even ate spicy food without breaking out a sweat. And, on the dance floor you really did shine (or was it sweat?) Seriously, TX looked like a whole lot of fun!!

I went to college in San Marcos and worked in Wimberly and Lockhart. Spent a lot of time motorcycling in the hill country. Great place and people.

You guys handled the heat pretty good! We just finished a camping trip in an actual Yurt at Lake Cachuma (just north of Santa Barbara, CA). Your pop up yurt was impressive! Glad Eric didn't reinjure his tailbone on that river!

If you're in and around Fredericksburg, Texas. Check out Barons CreekSide. My wife and I went there 7 years ago, it was amazing. It was built by a Swiss businesman who fell in love with the area, and built with genuine imported Swiss lodges. He even imported full sized metal cows, with the mountain bells. Well worth checking out 😄
