Thank you, Kendra for putting a name to these dolls.That's a good name folk art dolls.. I haven't priced sewing machines lately but Just a few years ago , mine was sixty dollars.. It's not a fancy one , but it's served me well

@@Mrs.Peachthriftyliving That's what I want. Nothing fancy. Basic machine for basic sewing. I have a friend who makes dresses for little girls in Africa so that they can go to school. Apparently many don't go to school because they don't have much in the way of clothing. I wish I could remember the name of the organization but the dresses are all strait line, with pretty fabrics and big pockes. The sleeves are a tie at the shoulder. I'd love to be able to do things like that.
