I Recently ordered the Felicita Arc scale for my DE1XL, they did update this scale to a type-c charging port, the scale is such an amazing device, works flawlessly with my machine.

DiFluid just came out with an update of their scale. Seems like a good middle ground that works for espresso and drip.

Have the SearchPean to be used with my Flair 58 - works perfect. For drip I have the Timemore black mirror - hate it (kind of).. Using the auto timer you cannot really touch anything during pouring.. stops the timer and you loose track of brewing time. I went to a Normcore - simple, reliable and good price. Still use the timemore from time to time but mainly for single cup pouring with technique that do not require stir&swirls.

Yes, this! I regret purchasing the black mirror for the same reason -any drip will cause it to turn off or reset.

I have the new Felicita and it has USB-C. They changed it. I thing for the price and considering you can fit 2 cups, it is the best one.

I recently got the black mirror mini which is basically the searchpean with flow rate for about 35usd, just for the flow rate I think it’s pretty competitive, and unlike the nano , I can see timer, weight and flow at the same time

Thanks for this video. When testing the accuracy, have you tried using that 100g calibration weight on all the scales to see if they all register correctly? Would be interesting to see.

Hi there, we did try that, and we cannot remember if some were off by 0.1g, but it was in that range. Nothing was completely off ☕️🤍

Great video! Really helpful as my Hario scale just broke after a drop on the floor! 😅 I see a bunch of coffee dosing containers in the bottom left behind you. What should one search for to find these? Looking for something that fits with an 18-20g dose of beans for my espresso setup! 😁

I have the newest scale from them and I have had a great experience. I got the mini version and it fits on the tray of a gaggia classic. I would recommend, especially for the price!
