TOUR MILWAUKEE WI ALONG THE HANK AARON BIKE TRAIL TO THE LAKE MICHIGAN LAKEFRONT. You will pass by the suburbs, Miller Park Baseball Stadium, the Menomonee Valley Business District, Potawatomi Casino, Harley Davidson Museum, Iron Horse Hotel, Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, the famous Henry Maier Summerfest Grounds, Lakeshore State Park, Discovery World Museum, Milwaukee Art Museum, the Lake Michigan lakefronts "Veterans Park", Mckinley Marina and FINELY lunch at one of our favorite coffee shops in town, "Colectivo Coffee" right on Lincoln Memorial Drive. After 3 hours of relaxing with food, drinks and our favorite books, it was time to view everything again in reverse order on the way back! The trip shown in this episode was 9.3 miles ONE WAY.

Cool bike path with lots of interesting stuff to see. Yes I agree with Mark that those downed trees were the work of beavers. Tiffany has been to Milwaukee on business. We are hoping to get over to Milwaukee next summer in our RV.

I've always remembered Milwaukee as a hip and trendy place from my first visit back in '96 and Summerfest in '09 headlining Lynyrd Skynyrd & Bon Jovi 🤘! Pretty cool seeing how the city has changed or my hazy memory of it ☮️!

Really enjoyed seeing you riding Rans bikes. Mine is a 1985 Stratus A (Closed loop handlebar). Rode a lot from '85 to around '95 but haven't done a whole lot since. Great tour and enjoy your videos.

We rode our 2008 Rans Stratus Le bikes for 10 years. We had an aluminum frame 2012 Sun EZ-Tandem that we LOVED. Just bought (2) Elux Malibu GT eBikes for our next chapter!

Looks like a very nice bike path through the city. In some ways a more interesting route with more to see than one through the countryside.Yep it looked like beaver felled trees to me also.

These beavers must have feel asleep during the tree cutting training class when they were younger. Aren't the trees suppose to fall in the water?

Now that we have traveled for 2.5 years, we see Milwaukee in a new light. It is a fun, interesting town.

Nice video. I am riding the Hank Aaron Trail over 100 times during the biking season. I love that trail, especially when you connect to the Oak Leaf trail so I can ride up to Estabrook park and then turn around and ride back to 94 pl. It is a great trail to have a few miles from my house.

Glad it was helpful! We have found over our 5 plus years of travel that the Milwaukee Oak Leaf interconnected trail system is absolutely 5 star compared to almost any other city we have traveled to.

If you have never been to Milwaukee, I can tell you it beats out many other more "name brand" cities when it comes to charm and things to do IN SUMMER. Don't go there in winter unless you SNOWMOBILE.

I enjoy what you guys do because your closer to our age and taste although the rolls are reversed in our relationship.. Sue, definitely has my attitude about doing things... LOL.... If you saw the things I have fixed, and the things I have built over the years, you wouldn't believe it. Now,.......I hardly do anything. This is why our RV costs are so high. (I mechanically and physically peaked too early!) As I am writing this, I am inside our RV,...... inside a repair bay! Stay tuned for that upcoming episode.

If someone has never visited Milwaukee, it really is a great place in summer. By staying at the WI State Fair RV Park, you are in the center of all the festivals and activities. The park system has concerts and dancing most nights. During the summer, you have probably 4 church festivals to pick from PER WEEK. It's a fun city to spend a few weeks in.

This was the second to the last time we rode our 2008 Rans Stratus Le bikes before we stored them. We may NEVER ride them again, after 10 years of use. We shall see. Just bought (2) new Elux Malibu GT eBikes for our next chapter!

That soup really looked good... great little cafe... I know and it's probably just me but I don't care that that sign said no e-bikes... if I had an e-bike it would be on that trail why couldn't I have an e-bike on that trail when the city can have a side-by-side riding down the trail... great video like always

Gary's trapping service...Beaver.....ONE CALL THATS ALL ! Beavers drop the trees just to get to the top soft branches.... Boy,,,Milwaukee sure cleaned up that area you biked thru....Ah City Life! PUKE!

You really get to see a lot more of a city when you can bicycle through it at 10mph, rather than speed through in your car at 45 mph. We are betting that our new eBikes will open up a lot more adventure to us when in unfamiliar cities,.....which is ALWAYS! We will finally get to use them starting in December 2019.

This small park area that we ride through is the natural link to use between the downtown area and the Lakefront Colectivo Coffee shop we always ride to. We actually were caught off guard when we saw the ebike prohibited sign,....and just proceeded slow, and made sure we were pedaling. We have never seen another sign in any other state, although in Sanibel Island in FL the local laws were looking at ebike usage laws on the Island.

Have fun! When we lived in Milwaukee we had taken the trail system for granted. Now we know how awesome the Milwaukee Metro area trail network is.

Milwaukee Road was a cargo railroad line that was gobbled up 20 years ago. My Dad worked for them.

The bikes in this video are Rans Stratus LE recumbent bikes. Very easy on the neck and back and spine. WE LOVE THESE BIKES,.......but,.......just switched to Elux Malibu GT eBikes. Stay tuned for an episode soon.

We got a 2017 Entegra Cornerstone it had 855 miles on it yes 855 mile . Drove it from the dealer never used it It's new to us But it's never been slept in It has 3 15000 roof top ACs Conan 12.5 kw gen I think I have 2013 Mewmar king Air Sold

They have since removed that sign! Lately we have seen LESS signs against ebikes. We are hoping the lawmakers are seeing the ebike bans are bad for business, and older folks fitness. When you get to a certain point, you just can't count on being able to pedal that hard and long.

2008 Rans Stratus LE,.......$1450 new,........about $2000 as configured.,........got them in Hales Corners WI at Wheel & Sprocket Bikes.
