Attending daily morning mass with Fr. Mike starts my day perfectly, With prayer, the absolute love of GOD, and a consistently beautiful mass from a Blessed priest. The last two weeks have been particularly strong, with my mental battle with cancer. I know most mornings I can turn in to Fr Mike and I can reflect and relax. And throughout the day I can come back and watch my favorite homilies of his. I hope I can meet Fr Mike and attend his mass someday. How lucky are the people of Bay Saint Louis, GOD Bless You.

Catholics are so lost! Their doctrine is so far removed from the simplicity of the Gospel! Repent, be baptised, get filled with the Holy Spirit, walk in Christ. That is how to get saved and how to stay saved. Don't be catholic, be Christian!!

Jesus founded ONE church, not 40,000 denominations. Delegated authority Matt 16:18-19, delegated authority to forgive sins, etc. And the Bible was defined, ie some letters kept, many not, by the Bishops of the Catholic Church. The theology of the Trinity was defined by the Catholic Church at the Council of Nicea in the face of heresies about the nature of Jesus. You think God who created the entire universe, the compound eyes of flies, the spinarets of spiders, the radar of bats, is "simple" and can be reduced to John 3:16 (which by the way is only the beginning, the first baby crawl). Go read up on history and theology before you spout verbal diarrhea.

@@veredictum4503 You're right. Jesus founded one Church. The polar opposite of the debacle known as the catholic church. The atrocities performed by "the catholic church" up to and including today, preclude it from being considered anything but heretic. Theft, murder, rape, incest, covetousness, concision...all major features of the catholic church but interestingly that's not what God lists as his pre requisites in Ephesians 5:27. I never mentioned John 3:16. Matthew 16:18-19 refers to the Holy Spirit. People filled with the Holy Spirit form God's Church The Scriptures are the inspired word of God. That God, for reasons still unclear, chose a few catholics to define them, does not put the entire religion in any kind of special place. You need to remove yourself from that religion, clear your mind of the things you've been taught and start again. The day of the Lord's return is approaching and you are nowhere near ready if you subscribe to the catholic religion.

Catholics are not lost they were taught by Jesus. He brought Jews, Gentiles and people of all nations, during His life on earth , together as one. Jesus did not just say to walk in Christ, at the Last Supper before he died for our sins He said eat this bread , for THIS IS MY BODY, drink this wine, for THIS IS MY BLOOD . The consecration at the Catholic Mass is the central moment when the bread and wine, by the words of Christ spoken by the priest and the invocation of the Holy Spirit , become the actual Body and Blood of Christ. Under the consecrated species of bread and wine, CHRIST HIMSELF, living and glorious is truly present . His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity is real and present in the Eucharist. Jesus is within us and we receive special graces through the Eucharist, so that Jesus can be with us until the end of time. Each time we celebrate the Mass Jesus is there, again going through His Passion which the priest and the church offer up God’s sacrifice of His only Son for the sins of man to God the Father. The Catholic priest receives the sacrament of Holy Orders and vows to lead other Catholics by bringing them the sacraments, especially the Eucharist, by proclaiming the Gospel , and by providing other means of holiness. The priest is consecrated and represents Christ in the Catholic Church. Jesus made it clear that He was not speaking metaphorically when He said” I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if anyone eats of this bread he will live forever ; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh “ (Jn 6:52). Jesus reiterates… “Truly, truly I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His blood , you shall have no life in you…For My flesh is food indeed and My blood is drink indeed.” 6(53-55). Receiving the true Eucharist is only possible in the Catholic Church through the consecration by the priest and the presence of the Holy Spirit, giving us the presence of Jesus Christ. This cannot happen in a Christian church with a layman as pastor. Many Christians believe that the Eucharist is just a symbol of the body and blood of Christ. Jesus tells us it is not a symbol. If you truly want to follow Christ, God the Father and The Holy Spirit follow the words of Jesus. Jesus also wants us to receive the other sacraments, which includes the importance of Penance. Jesus gave the apostles the power to forgive sins. Jesus says we must repent, and we cannot talk to God ourselves to receive forgiveness. Catholic priests, who are also apostles of Christ, are the only ones that can forgive our sins, through the power of Christ. The priest is there to speak to us and say I absolve you of your sins, but it is Jesus Himself that is there with us forgiving our sins.

@@sandyshore8787 That ^^ is walking talking proof of how completely lost your religion is. What Scriptures state that the bread turns into flesh and the wine turns into blood? Where does Jesus tell us that the bread and wine are not a symbol? What Scriptures say that priests can absolve you from your sin? What Scriptures say we cannot talk to God to receive forgiveness? You have been misled. There is no relationship between the Church of the Bible and the catholic religion I'm happy to provide a bunch of Scriptures if you're interested in learning the truth.

@@brucedavenport7016 I specifically noted John, Chapter 6, starting with verse 52. The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying,”How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 Jesus said to them, “ Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the FLESH! (He didn’t say BREAD) Of the Son of Man and drink His BLOOD (He didn’t say WINE) you do not have life within you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him on the last day. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Back to 51, “ I am the LIVING bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever, and THE BREAD THAT I WILL GIVE IS MY FLESH FOR THE LIFE OF THE WORLD.” Jesus speaks of the bread of life to sustain you as a food for life. Jesus said “and the bread I will give IS MY FLESH for the life of the world.” He truly means His flesh. It’s right there in black and white, the words of the Bible according to John. Jesus uses the word Flesh so many times how can you not believe. Why do you think Christ endured flogging of His flesh, which represents purification of our flesh. Endured the physical torture of His flesh, hands and feet , to be nailed to the cross. God the Father sent His Son, true God Man to die in the flesh for our sins. Why did He do this? So that we could receive His Flesh ,that is offered up every time we have a Mass, to be our sustenance for life with Him. Jesus Himself is present within our body then, the greatest gift. I believe what the Bible and Jesus has said. Jesus never said that it was a SYMBOL of his flesh. You can’t find that in the Bible. Then in John, Chapter 6, verse 60 it says, Then many of His disciples who were listening said, “This saying is hard; who can accept it?” 61, Since Jesus knew that his disciples were murmuring about this, He said to them ,”Does this shock you?” 64 “But there are some of you who do not believe.” 66, As a result of this many of His disciples returned to their former way of life and no longer accompanied Him. People left because they couldn’t believe what Jesus had told them. They found it too hard to believe. But this came from the mouth of Jesus, so it is true. 67, Jesus then said to the Twelve, “Do you also want to leave?” ( Jesus was obviously asking them if this was also hard for them to believe, that they will eat His flesh and drink His blood.) 68, Simon Peter answered Him,” Master, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 , We have come to believe and are convinced that You are the Holy One of God.” As far as the forgiveness (absolution) for sins it is stated in John Chapter 20. This is after Jesus has risen from the dead and appears to the disciples, His apostles. In the middle of verse 19, …Jesus came and stood in their midst and SAID to them, “ Peace be with you.” 21, Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I SEND YOU.” 22, And when He said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” 23, Whose SINS YOU FORGIVE ARE FORGIVEN THEM, AND WHOSE SINS YOU RETAIN ARE RETAINED.” The apostles were the first priests. They received the Holy Spirit and were given the authority to forgive sins, through the power of Jesus Christ. Jesus said as the Father has sent Me, so I send you! This means that they will now represent Jesus. All priests in the Catholic Church represent Christ. Jesus at the Last Supper said to the apostles , Do this in memory of Me. The apostles , were the first priests, and the Ordained Priests act in the power of Christ to continue the work of the apostles. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that you can always just talk to God yourself and ask for forgiveness of sins. This is what I believe and the things I believe were spoken by Jesus as recorded in the Holy Bible.
Silence in the face of sin and pride month, is another sin.
