@@user-mh9ly2en6pEven South Indians also we felt that Jawan was not a great film. According to Bollywood audience, it is a fresh script. But in Tamil Nadu, there were many movies already came with Jawan flavour. So we didn't satisfy with Jawan.

@@dhineshbabu9496 Jawan is Mainly made for Hindi Speaking audience Majority of them enjoyed loved it Btw I'm a South Indian bruh..Even our own movie cannot satisfy everyone every one have their opinion but I'm telling movie is not bad It's the Highest Collected Bollywood Movie in Telugu & Tamil that tells people liked the movie..if the movie was better it would collected more..

Looking at Anirudh now ....he has grown into a man. 😂 Once one stand up comedian described Anirudh and Dhanush as two pencils that worked into the recording studio. 😅 They were so young and then and were recording "Why this Kolaveri Di. "But now those 2 pencils have grown into 2 handsome strong men. Lots of love for Anirudh from South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤

1:04:58 The interesting point to note with Lokesh and Ani, which he mentioned here, is that Ani has final say in the music but Lokesh has the final say in the edit. That's why Pathala Pathala was cut short for the movie. How the music is used in the movie still comes down to the director.

Music director SS. Thaman sometimes gets the project for Background scoring before its due to release in a month or two. Some movies have songs composed by one music director and Background score by the other. They do work on the final edit of the film like that. In an interview Telugu music director "Koti" of 1980s told that he almost walked out of the project when director said its Bad and insulted him after Koti and his entire musicians team performed live for 22 mins climax sequence of the film while its being played on real time.

Not to be cheesy, but while Anirudh creates music, AR creates magic. It's something else. AR music is like an aged wine, it hits so well after sometime. While Anirudh music is like Champagne, it pops with a splash and vanishes after sometime. But we are still hooked with both great composers

Nepotism matters only for acting. For actual creating like music , it is not relevant ie you can’t fake creating a good music album. It actually has to happen, unlike acting where we have a lot of crappy actor kids. In that case , even ar rahman’s dad was a music director.

Kindly don't make such comments of Hollywood not winning any more bgm awards if Indian film bgm gets submitted to the Oscars. Hollywood bgm was making tsunamis (John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Hans Zimmer, James Horner and others) much before Indian film bgm started making waves in the global market.
