@5:28 This is similar to what Will Smith wrote in his memoir happened with him and his parents. His mom wanted him to go to college (and used her connections to get him accepted), but he wanted to be a rapper. They both presented their cases to his father...who decided that he had a year to make it in the music business. If not, then he would go to college. (Again, his mom used her connections to extend his acceptance for a year.) He hit with "Girls Are Nothing But Trouble" (he claims it's a true story) and "Parents Just Don't Understand" so he never went to college.
