I just finished Death and Ramen and was so impressed with Bobby's acting that I decided to look up more of his film work and came across this one. So glad I did. Loved both short films. I'd like to see Bobby do more serious roles. He has some acting chops on him.

For real. I know he plays up his quirkiness and open sincerity almost like a pseudo character. I'm sure this is more like the real him if he can tap into it like this. I love the Slept King like the rest of us, but it's cool to see him actually be able to show off some sort of real emotion as opposed to being just a sidekick in a sitcom.

Here in 2024. Huge fan of Bobby. The people who are saying they are surprised must not have seen him act at all. He’s always been a talented actor. He just never gets the opportunity to take on non comedy roles because he’s been type casted like majority of actors do. He’s a natural on screen and his appearance in anything is undeniably entertaining. So I’m not surprised by the presence of his talent, but I am pretty damn impressed at his talent range as an actor! Bravo Bobby Lee! - ps been a bad friend since madtv days, before your and Cheeto Santino’s bad friendship went public on the World Wide Web. Ty for the giggles boys.

Dude, this is more touching than 98% of what comes out of Hollywood. Maybe even 100% anymore. You definitely need to do more of these and do all types of different short films. Comedy, drama, action, romantic stuff, mix it up. I would really love to see his active skills in every type of film. And I’m sure many studios, whenever the strike gets done, would love to see his versatility. He’s incredible. Very believable in this and the girls were both awesome. The second one, the emotion on her face, just amazing. Thank you for this. I will definitely be checking out the channel more and more.

nothing like a good exaggerated anecdotal % quote to sound profound and drive your point. "98% of what comes out of Hollywood" isnt made with the intention to be 'touching'. Theres hundreds of films made a year with maybe a handful intended to be truly deep and introspective. Youre throwing out 98% as if it Hollywood isnt predominantly 37 Fast and Furious movies and 3 monthly Marvel films. Thats why movies like Eternal Sunshine, Marriage Story & Shawshank are so few and far between. This is fantastic but dont be the "tHiS iS bEtTeR ThAn 99% oF mUsIc ReLeaSeD ThEsE DaYs" peak boomer guy.

The mugging scene made me uncomfortable, I don’t like to see bobby getting hurt. Even if it’s fake. He’s just a koala in my eyes . But very well done. His disbelief and sadness really was believable, when he looked at the call girl as he. Boyfriend was robbing him.
