The French Whisperer ASMR

The French Whisperer ASMR

Күн бұрын

In this soft spoken ASMR bedtime story, I explore with you the mysteries of various "out-of-place artifacts", that is to say (allegedly) old objects that would challenge conventional chronology and/or the mainstream view of the technical advancement of ancient cultures.
Forgeries, hoaxes and pranks abound. I tell you about some of them like the Michigan Relics or the Crystal Skulls; they were fake but still are good stories.
A small number of objects really keep a part of mystery or invite us to rethink our views of ancient societies, like the Antikythera Mechanism. Or we still don't exactly know how they were made, like the Shroud of Turin.

How do you explain things so much more clearly and compellingly than any of my teachers, when English isn't even your first language? Bravo! This channel is such an invaluable anchor to sanity for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

@@dingle1908 I agree in part, but I've always loved learning and was very self-motivated in school, so I really think the difference is a testament to TFW's brains, talent, and gift with words!

@@Leonicles I hear you, I have psychosis, so I hear voices 24/7. I often put on TFW even during the day to give my brain a much-needed break. And yes, TFW is non-negotiable for my sleep - I too have ditched Ambien and am now successfully coming down on my other sleep aid(!) This makes perfect sense to me; back when we all lived in caves or huts, we probably fell asleep to the sound of hushed voices.

You are a savior. I've had sleeping problems for my entire life, but the last couple of months (and especially weeks) it has completely spiraled out of control, due to too much stress and constant heart skipping not giving me a chance to relax either. It drives me insane to the point of giving up. The only thing getting me through the night are your video's. I like your diversity in topics (especially mythology) and also the length of these video's. 99% of ASMR out there are too short for me to fall asleep too, but yours have a chance of me not hearing the end if I happen to have a good night. (This one is less likely, but the 2 or 3+ hours do) Thank you!

I had surgery on my shoulder 2 days ago. I've been listening to your stories for several weeks now to help me relax at night. Last night was my first night home from hospital and my shoulder pain was excruciating. With the help of your video I was able to relax and even got some sleep. Thank you so very much.

Can't wait to watch this later. Given the title I thought we might get the story of the Vinland map you briefly showed last video, which was a forgery (although the Vikings did make it to North America). I believe the map was "found" a few years before the actual settlement remains were discovered.

Oooo, OOPARTs, what fun! No one can tell me that the Shroud of Turin isn't Christ's burial cloth. The carbon 14 dating was flawed because they used a part of the Shroud which had had newer threads woven into the fabric, skewing the result. We STILL don't know how the image was produced on the Shroud, we cannot replicate it even today, and how would anyone from Medieval times know about a negative image? The pollens found on the Shroud are local to the Holy Lands. The Shroud also matches up with the face cloth called the Sudarium of Oviedo, with such precision that if it were treated as a crime scene it would be proof that both cloths covered the same body. The Sudarium is dated to 500 AD because contamination due to handling would introduce newer organic compounds and push the date further forward than its actual origin.

There actually was a much more recent study done on the Shroud of Turin that has proven the shroud was made pretty close to the time of Jesus. They also took samples of the pigment and found it was dried blood, and even determined the blood type.
