Out of the Box June on the Range Recommendations + TBR!

2 ай бұрынJune on the Range 2024 is almost here! I thought I would get into the mix with a few western and ghost town themed books this year! Here are all of my recommendations for some middle grade and young adult as well as spooky western recommendations from the books that I own! I have some books here for my June TBR pile, so we'll see if we get to any of those in June!

It's been so long I've been thinking about re-reading Skin. It was a wild book and definitely had a fascinating twist!!

Closest to RL Stine western is the Haunting Hour episode Coat rack Cowboy. Strange Matter has one with The Weird Weird West which is quite good

Oh yeah! The Coat Rack Cowboy episode!! I remember that one. I'll have to go look for the Strange Matter book! I haven't read any of those yet so that would definitely be a fun add to June on the Range!!

The Indiana Jones series looks like a lot of fun. I don't think I own any western type of books lol, but I'll definitely be double checking my bookshelves maybe I'll find something. There's a movie called The Durango Kids that I used to love watching as a kid, where the kids go back in time to a western town it was a lot of fun lol.

I've read five of the Indiana Jones prequels! The first one is very slow moving, but after that they pick up quite a bit and are a lot of fun! I just watched the trailer for The Durango Kids! That movie looks awesome!! lol -- I might add it to my watch list for June!!

This is a fun video idea. I decided to read a nonfiction book, Aloha Cowboys, about some Hawaiian cowboys who faced discrimination at a Wyoming rodeo, because I'd wanted to read it for a while.
