I think IVO said it best, Cellar Darling is a "Symbiosis of all three"! That's what I like about "Cellar Darling", You CONSISTENTLY hear all three "personalities" in the music and it all blends together smooooooth. In my opinion, a very rare thing for a band.

I can't believe the latest comment is a year ago. I just came across this video. I enjoyed the background to Cellar Darling. I liked Eluveitie, but I love Cellar Darling. Bringing Anna's voice and the hurdy gurdy to the fore highlights my favourite bits of Eluveitie. I also have "Forest of Fog" to check out!

When a friend of mine suggested Eluveitie to me I watched a live video, and to me Anna and the drummer stood out the most by far. Anna has something in her voice that touches me. Glad to see you formed a band together :) Oh, and Avalanche is a great song!!

Anything i heard from this band turned out to be absolutely fantastic, the drums, anna's voice etc. It just sounds like it's in harmony with each other. You guys did a really, really good job of finding your own 'way', it feels new, and refreshing.

Goddamn you guys are so lucky, for real tho! In my career as a Semi-pro bassist / non semi-pro nor pro musician i have never felt the need to find a bandmate to create music with other than that current band. There was a rapper i worked with tho, which was in probably my most popular band in our home country that influenced me into picking up the mic and made me a vocal/bassist either singing or grunting but I never really felt the need to do something with any musician that was in a band of me at that time period. I never really listened to folk metal, I did listen to folk music but never really quite understood folk metal (which was bassically just 1 or 2 folk instruments on top of the standard metal instruments) but i really did enjoy the Melo death that you guys made in Eluveitie because it was something way diffrent opposed to any other folk metal band around at the early 2010's, you guys where faster, more melodic, relied more on the folk instruments, the drums werent this massive ego centric thing, there wasnt huge lead guitar parts. And as a musician i can say that the new Eluveitie members that replaced you are better suited for the job/maybe even better for a pure metal band, I can't say that i like Eluveitie that much anymore, the fact that they had to find people that are better than you guys on their respective instrument made me kind of gag. I loved that old feeling of simple drums, simple guitars and the violin/flute/bagpipes taking over the melody! I loved that! that is also why i do think that Slania is there best album ever made! its like the songs where created just for that feeling of folk music. i think you guys have had a major influence on why i as a non folk metal liker, did like eluveitie. From my perspective I wouldnt say you guys (not aiming at Anna cuz i do think Anna is something completly different compared to their current line up) suck but have a more musical understanding, you leave the openings for the other instruments to take over (also love how Ivo put in that super short but amazing bass slide in Black moon, that crunchyness on that bass is just amazing!) and I might not be into much of your newer work but i'd still say it would be something very special to only talk to you guys and have short conversations about how things changed in the big run. I can understand that your income has dropped lower and that that might be a bit harder to come around with but how do you guys fill that gap? I can understand you dont run normal day jobs but Ill be honest that im more interested in how you live your life outside of Cellar darling because that is a bit more interessting to me, probably because i toured myself and have had great runs as opener for bigger bands and earned a bit of income with that, still running a regular day job at that time. Also you guys just kick ass, so that is a thing that is way different than any other band. I think the way Ivo plays the basic riffage just kicks ass and he reminds me of the first guitar player i ever played with who i could completly imagine writing music with me, now i do have to say im pretty bad at writing but i know how to fill the gaps when the guitar player didnt know how to fill them, sadly he worked with Tablature and I dont because i think that destroys the creative freedom.

- Anybody knows why did this "split" happen? - The album is one of the greatest ones I 've heard in a long time! - Anna, besides being beautiful and talented, she is realy funny too! Love her!
