Some houses have the WOW factor, but this is so far beyond wow that it needs new superlatives. I've rarely seen a place with more beautiful gardens, nor a house with such a lovely layout, nor a more perfect outlook. I don't think I've ever seen a house that combines all so sublimely. If that was mine, I would think that I'd died and gone to heaven.

@@prayerpatroller I agree, the doors that open are computer generated, and they do not match what you see from the front of the house. I do like the modest entrance that you see from the distance though, which is, I assume, as it appears.

This home spoke to me. It read my mind in every aspect, as if it knew my wants, my desires. Never before have I seen such a perfect expression of myself in a living space. It literally brought me to tears. I seriously am reaching for tissues as I write this. Thank you, I know now my paradise really does exist.

One of the most warm and inviting color schemes I have ever seen for a home on any video. It was spectacular. To be invited to view this amazing place of virtue I felt honored. The home was not vulgar, rather it was elegant and sophisticated, not tacky and impersonal. Instead, it had not just a heart but a SOUL. Who ever lives here now or in the future are very lucky people indeed. A dream home for anyone with taste that can afford it. I am sad the video ended. I was whisked away in private thoughts of ohhhh if only....and ahhhh how nice...and a feeling of wonderment. Thankyou. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍👏👏👏👏

@@StephenKershaw1 everybody is entitled to their own opinion, nevertheless, when you use the word tacky that is a sad reflection of how limited you are when it comes to appreciating the setting and timeless elegance of the place. It required the timeless touch. Not modern colors or furnishings or kitchens etc that every other similar video seems to replicate. Modernism or timeless sophistication is what this home either needed or did not need, in my opinion it was perfect it did not need the tacky modern touches.

Stephen Kershaw You’re using baseless claims with no means of proof. There’s no way of actually proving you “own” a luxury home. Which I highly doubt anyways, but there really is no reason to denounce someone else’s preference in interior design as tacky if the only purpose is to degrade them and their preferences.

There’s literally nothing to be envious about considering you probably don’t have the luxuries you boast about. And it a justifiable position to call someone out for being overtly and unabashedly rude for something that is of very little consequence x series can enjoy something regardless of whether it is consistent with your perspective and that doesn’t make it tacky, you trying to justify your egotism by exclaiming you own luxury properties falls short and makes you seem like an idiotic liar.

Next door to Santa Barbara is Monticito and it has lots of mansions like this like where the cellar is cut stone and 10 foot ceiling an orchestra pit that plays to the dinning room and the sitting room huge ceiling .

I would love to see a love story movie filmed there if the home has not been sold yet. That place is gorgeous. The indoors have green outdoors views everywhere. That could be a retirement home. That could be a wedding venue. That could be a family home or a private retreat. The outdoors is a place I could live outside and paint the views if the owner wants some paintings for the walls. That kitchen is wonderful.

I loved this fabulous home. We live in Santa Barbara and I’ve been to this magnificent home for cocktail parties.. The hostess was amazing and so sweet. OMG you just want to walk all around inside and out and take it all in it’s such a treat for the senses.. light hord’derves on the patio and heavy cocktails on the first balcony.. pick a spot! I miss this home... SantaBarbara is pretty wonderful 🌹❤️🥂

The curved palm tree entryway on the 5:25 time stamp is wow! ., I am kicking myself in the u know where because I just bought a Gatorade u know the good kind .. other wise I would be so all over it .. and snatching this property up. Views and landscaping: sublime. Villa is one of the best modern adaptions of an ancient Roman villa I've yet seen. Unfortunately, the interiors are bland and do not reflect the architectural inspiration. Clearly the decorator did not understand the Roman aesthetic.

It is beautiful as only a pre-income tax estate can be. The U.S. is back to certain people taxes, so modern homes at this price point are being built, bought and sold.

I believe this house was built in the early 1920s, when they built things to last. It was on the market in the 1980s for something like $4,000,000 - inflation takes its toll!

The water bill alone and Cali is in a shortage, so too much foilage, you need more outside workers than you do inside cleaners. Nice but way toooooooo much hassle, even if you have the $$$. Grass clippings everywehere, flowers leaves fuck that//

Donna Dreyer 😑 REALLY?!!! In WHAT world did it become the owners responsibility to take care of a whole bunch of homeless veterans? Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate their service in the military, I’m just not seeing how what you said makes ANY sense. Also a homeless person CAN’T appreciate this house, they DON’T KNOW HOW to! If you have the heart to care for a whole bunch of homeless veterans, then more power to you, BUT don’t say “sad to think one person could only think of themselves” SIMPLY because they wanted a nice mansion & could afford it, instead of giving away the money they more than likely worked hard for.

ArizonaWillful can’t disagree with u there! ur 100% right. There are many people in that category, but that’s why I said more than likely. The amount of people in this world who are rich that did work for it shouldn’t be held to standard that they give away what they earned, BUT EVEN those who are generational shouldn’t be held to that standard either. Jus cuz their families were rich when they were born doesn’t mean they aren’t continuing to work to add to it. Now for the ones who aren’t doing a DAMN thing & just spending it, they could give it to those who could REALLY use it, cuz THEY don’t need to be on social media flexing, but from what I’ve seen, that’s a small minority.

They paid seven million in 1999, then put in 25 plus million into renovation. The place was pretty well run down.
