What a brilliant explore of yours Jay ! stunning scenery on paths leading up to cottage like a maze. But I loathe the vandalism that is just all old and historical gems are smashed up. Cannot and never will get the. Stupid mentality of the people !! and some sadly or elderly may have no close family, surely there’s other family members further down who must know of the person that was living in this. Lovely building. If people alone or infirm or struggling it’s so sad to think they were just stranded there alone. How so sad. I love the natural flora and fauna , and all flora. Anchoring itself to brickwork and window frames, natural beauty at its best. All the rooms, so many and each one has its own character, different sensations. Another fantastic explore Jay ! The house used to be timberbottom farm cottages two old cottages and the tale of the 2 sculls found in bradshaw brook . The sculls are housed in turton towers now.

Cracking place to have a home Clarky. I mean it's like a nature enclave in Bolton. I was digging them ferns not to mention the Rover. You could sell that steering wheel on ebay. But then there are the ethics. Well, a decent explore. Defo 70's decor there as we ll as some old school entertainment. Always enjoyed the Darling Buds of May. Yeah, a right old gem there mate. Another cracking explore clarky.....theres something about an house in the woods...and espesh ...when its more than one house knocked into another....the doors where def 70,s esk...ivory plastic door handles...a giveaway ... doors with glass in where all the rage in the 70,s ...also lino in one of the bogs....but the thick wooden ceiling beams where amazing ...Thanks for another great video mate ...respect .....Frank & Lee.....

Thanks Clarky for a great adventure mate, I used to live just a few hundred yards west of there in the early 1980s so I do know the area of Tonge Moor, the road is Tonge moor Road and further east is Bradshaw then slightly further along that road is Harwood. With it being off the road I've never seen it before but I believe it's classed as Timberbottom and there used to be an old farm house down there that was called Timberbottom Farm that was allegedly very haunted which was noted in a book that I had in the 1980s. I'm sure that someone from the area would have known the dear old chap Ernest Simm but I didn't. Take care and all the best. Stevie
