This kind of job in the mobile care is one of the best u can get in Germany. The Salary is between 1900-2800 Brutto. You work 40-60 hours a week in 3 shifts. Much overtime. Drive to 20-30 patients each day. Begin working at 5.00/6.00 a.m. At the patients home and finish every day at 4.00 p.m. without making any brakes. U work like a robot. Every thing u do at the patients home is calculated in minutes. Like putting on compression socks u have only 5 minutes. The time starts at the front door. Walling up and down the stairs are included.

This is a problem in most of Europe, has nothing to do with letting in migrants. Even the UK which has taken in the least migrants has the same problem. There is not enough care from the governments towards their population. Most politicians are of legal/academic/economic background which is good for administration but not for good health care. All governments should enforce their politicians to spend days with people like Rosa to appreciate that their jobs are not about numbers but about people.

For working in Germany as a geriatric nurse u need to learn the German language. U need for this profession the certificate of level B2. That means u start with A1, A2, B1 and B2. Each course takes in Germany 6 months. U can go to the Goethe intitute in your country and learn German. If ure good at it you have 1 year of schooling to to to get all certifications. Further u need to get ure exam from India. Ure diploma must be recognized in the country u want to work. This cost 150€ and takes about 6 months to get the paperwork from the government. As soon as u have all paperwork done u need to find a job and have a contract to get hired by a caregiver in Germany. With the working contract u will need to go to the german ambassy in ure County to get a visa for living and working in Germany.

There are many people without jobs. And this is one area that can provide jobs by having a short term course as a home nursing course so that the burden is distributed and there is also quality time spent on these old people. It is stressful when one nurse has a lot of old people to take care of. The children of these old parents can do their bit in providing finance so that the home nurse receives a proper income.

I too am a home healthcare worker (not a registered nurse though) and I want nothing more than to move to Germany, become a citizen and work full time helping people stay in their home. I'm working hard on making my dream a reality, learning German, saving money for the traveling, looking into becoming a registered nurse and researching everything I can about moving to and becoming a citizen of Germany. Does anybody have any advice for me? Thank you all for everything you all do, much love from the US 🙏🙏
