I agree with Rob, i use the Toilette and shower in my caravan as i cannot abide walking into the ablutions and smelling other peoples Toilette smells. No matter how nice the blocks are!

I'm with you on this. If you spend £20k on a car you do not get the issues that spending £70+k on a motorhome gives you. I think they just throw them together now, the old ones don't seem to have issues like the new ones do. And as Rob said it's loosing time of work to drop it back to get it fixed is really annoying, I think they should pay for your lost wages.!! Happy Holidays. Pat. x

We all cringe when our warranties runs out. Unfortunately things do go wrong with our motorhomes but you sound like your a hands on bloke and more than competent to carry the repairs yourself. You have a good following I'm sure if you don't know, someone out there will be able to advise. Great vlog again😊

Hi I think you said you may go back to end lounge, we bought a Swift escape 647 in 2020, so we had to makeup the bed at night, every time you moved the bed creaked, the rail's that hold the slats collapse after 6 months cheap plastic, I asked AEG if they had problems with them yes was the reply, I do like the end lounge but have decided to have a fixed bed, and go back to a caravan Bailey Alicanto Grande Lisban, no more Swifts, my list was as long as yours as regards problems.

Wow, that’s an awful lot of work done on a new motorhome. Glad we’ve got a secondhand one. We’re having work done, but it’s work we want done, like new additional solar panels. Oh and a full English breakfast here is 5€ for a small one & 7€ for a large, which just doubles up to 2 sausages, 2 eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, mushrooms, beans, grilled tomatoes & hash browns. You also get a mug of tea or coffee Loved the vlog by the way

I'm with Lynn. There's way more room to have a proper shower in the toilet blocks and you're not messing up your own little bathroom in the van.... I never used the bathroom in my caravan except toilet in the night.. So much easier in the long run and bathroom looked brandnew when I sold it on 😊

I'm with Lynn, shower block everytime for me (plenty of room & me time) also I'm with Rob i don't like the ford cab either, glad you enjoyed you 3 nights, we got a month of work ahead of us soon but after that will be looking to get away, can't wait xx

Sounds expensive but I agree with Lynn, if you have toilet blocks use them, save your chemicals and use the facilities that you've paid for especially the showers as it's all wear and tear on your system.

The PSU unit lynn will not come with another 12 months on it as it was replaced within the time frame of the warranty . Think off it this way if your washing machine was not able to be repaired and was replaced by the dealership the machine runs from the point it was brought and any remaining warranty continues till it runs out .

If you. have an extended water ingress warranty are you not obliged to have it serviced each year with the dealership to get them to inspect the van and stamp your service book?

Hi guys another great video, I think you are right with your van we have a 1year old Rollerteam and we been waiting for warranty work to be done, our problem has been waiting for parts coming from Italy, we been told all parts our here now work but can’t be done until end of January 2024. All problems are silly thing northing major.

Do you leave your power on when it's in storage? (We normally do to keep the tracker etc going) but our batteries went flat and we had to bring them home to charge (thank god they charged cos it would have been expensive)

A piece of advice from someone that’s owned many rvs here in the states if you have something try to repair it yourself if it’s out of warranty and if you’re not able then to locate a mobile rv repair service that will come out to your house and make the complicated repairs and I would suggest calling around soon to speak to them about there hourly rates and how they charge for travel that’s how I handled all non warranty work and it was a lot cheaper and less time consuming just a thought

My Swift Bessacarr Hi-Style 599 2018 with 12500 miles is absolutely perfect apart from me driving away without closing the large sunroof. I picked up the bits & now waiting for replacement £1800 supply only as company are too busy until February to fit. I can do it with my friends help 👍🏻

Yeah I agree Rob with every van will require warranty work and fortunately I got mine from a dealer 15 mins away, which means I don’t have to take days off to drop it off just half an hour. I take it your self employed then ?
