This is such a strange concept to me being from England. In the UK we don’t really have mailboxes, most houses have letterboxes built into the front door! That way you’ll be able to see if you got a letter or small package instead of having to walk to the property line and open a box!

Hi, I live in California and my mail box it’s on my front door. It’s built into the door. I guess not all have mail boxes out. 😊

The mailman has to drive everywhere in my neighborhood In the woods so he can just drive up to a mailbox and not have to keep getting out of the vehicle ❤

Looks great but mail boxes should be breakaway it help in case an accident happens. A solid will chop of a limb if a biker hits it. Just an example. Break away Mail boxes please everyone. I know this from experience

Looks really good! (we can't use that style mailbox in CA. We have to use anti-theft (locking) mailboxes.

Could you tell me how the mailbox is doing with the post directly in concrete? Thinking of doing this but heard of rotting and wanted to check with someone who has actually done it and not people who are trying to scare me out of doing anything in life lmao
