This is a "Build" video with no running footage.
In this video AJ builds our Pawn Shop Special Notorious 6s into a beast using hand picked parts to keep it light and yet improve the durability of the machine without costing a fortune to do it. Switching it from a Notorious to an Outcast has AJ feeling pretty good about the prospect of the build, for he loves the look of the Outcast. Come along as AJ turns this fun machine into something else with tougher components and a new carbon fiber chassis. AJ walks you through not only the build, but why we chose the components we did.

This is the most extensive Arrma Outcast 6S assembly video I have ever seen. Thank you. My first RC was Arrma Outcast 6S. I like this car more than any other. A seller of the model bought it somewhere in the States and carried it to Ukraine. By that time I had zero familiarity with mechanics or maintenance. I asked some RC guru to repair my issues and regretted it a lot. That's how I discovered that it's only me who can fix it. I watch videos like this and practice with parts bought in the U.S. When I speak with local RC shops here, they don't get a lot of terms that I share with them. Haha! This is a subscription that's for sure.

Well crafted video. very helpful and inspiring. So much so that i"m currently shopping the inner webbs used Mojave parts too convert my 6s Kraton to Mojave. So thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for the Vid. I'm New back into R/C "been 20 years" and I just bought this vehicle "Notorious 6S" This was MAJOR help and learning about this R/C and it's in n out's. Very much appreciated! Although A parts list and links would help out a newbie like me. Thanks again for the video.👍👍

Awesome build. I run fireteam wheels on my outcast as well. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks they are pretty awesome.

I bought this exact same chassis from Scorched Parts and it came with an instruction/overview sheet with a special note to fit the servo first before assembling the alloy front part 😉

I'm also devastated by Tbone racing closing up shop. They were my go to for my aftermarket bumpers and the sad thing is there is no equivalent company to what they made. It was really bad news for us rc hobbyists. Hopefully maybe they come back one day or some entrepreneur starts up another company with similar designs and materials used. Also stinks going from a lifetime warranty to not being able to get replacement parts if needed. Very sad to hear 😔

I can send you the information but I can’t recommend it until we beat the crap out of it first. Actually, search this on eBay…Carbon Fiber Chassis for 1/8 Arrma Notorious 6s BLX V1 - V5. The vendor is King-Hobby. Let me know what you think 😎👍

Always informative with your videos, appreciate the work. Curious how the Outcast holds up to a bash with that chassis. I do run the fireteam wheels on the Maxx V1, love those tires.

Hi AJ Awsome vids question the Arrma FireTeam wheels by the Copperhead 2 wheels what wheels have Less ballooning and I know the Fireteam say anti ballooning and I respect your input thanks for the help…

Hi Aj, question, why put ally hubs on when the most common place to fail is the hinge pins. The hinge pins bend and u start going through lower arms quicker Tbh on my car the hubs are only bit I’ve not done. Great build vid I’m just a little confused as to why you only upgraded that part as it’s not the weakest

We have had more hub issues than arm or hinge pin issues. With the RPM arms the flex has minimized the pin issues and the arms generally hold up better than the stock ones, however, this is the first set of V5 arms we've gotten in the studio, so we'll have to wait and see how things shake out. Our outlook is: Strength on the hubs, flexibility on the arms, and strong insides, make for a durable RC. Thanks for asking. AJ

i have exb out cast im looking at putting talion on there i want to make it faster im looking a 14 tooth pinion i dont jump with it i run on grass and do litlle jumps . any help would be appreciated

Let's see...an Outcast with Talion tires and wheels, and a 14 tooth pinion? The tires will help keep the front end down. The pinion should be a good place to start...keep an eye on your temps. I would lower the suspension a touch for drag reasons. This all depends upon how tall the grass is you're running in, of course. Sounds fun.

I was really upset when T-Bone racing went out of business! They had the best bumpers in the rc game for sure! I had them on every rig that they made stuff for🤙🏻

They did go out of business, but I thought someone else took it over. If you look them up I was able to find a site. Unless they are just unloading all their inventory.
