what do you think about forthwall? it's sort of an hybrid, it may be a bit easier than starting with shopify. Also does store domain works like other dns? i.e. I can have aliases pointing different ips?

I think the patience thing just applies to marketplace stores which require time to gain traction with SEO. If you are driving your own traffic time shouldn't be a factor you're right.

video topic idea... how someone can heat press their first X number of sales per day (to make a little more profit in the beginning) then have any remaining sales that day fulfilled by POD. i'm not quite sure how to partition a certain % of sales that i will fulfill manually

Joe can you make a video of what's the cheapest lowest cost way to start a pod shop. I had a shopify store that have sold a few items. I lost my job and now I have deactivated it because I could no longer run ads and pay for the cost of supplier, reviews app and personalization app. So I'm moving my designs to etsy now and have been there for a week not seeing any sales, not even views on my store that has 0 reviews and sales :( Thing is I can't keep spending hundreds on fb or tiktok ads anymore for my shopify. Can you please make a video on how someone with very little earnings (I am a housewife) can create a successful shop. what i'm trying to say is that, I'm just very careful on where I put my money on now.. I can't sort of do a trial and error on a platform watch my money burn if I make 0 sales. I don't really mind paying for a premium fee say on amazon seller or a personalization app for my etsy store, as long I'm not spending hundreds of dollars - im not sure will return to me.

Under vendor in shopify for product page, do we put printify or our store name ?? And for description, do we descibe our product or use SEO terms like Etsy ??

You can leave the vendor blank. For descriptions, yes you should write a custom description applicable to your niche

Listed 100 insanely beautiful metal black ornate mandalas on eBay and not one of them got any views....and I have over a 1200 feedback rating. They also didn't sale on my website which is ranked #1 on Google in my niche. My prices were super low also

@@RealJoeRobert when you use the "promote"option on eBay they sprinkle the mandala signs out on GOOGLES ( VERY VISABLE ) banners ....and yuppppp...SUPER GOOD VISIBILITY.... AWESOME DESIGNS ....AND NOT ONE CLICK.

I work 60+ hours a week but wanted to expand my income streams. Is it worth me opening a Shopify store instead of Etsy? I was just interested in using ai art I design to put on t shirts that’s really all & to see if it could generate some cash flow, nothing ridiculous

One important point to consider is that Etsy closes shops without warning. So you could put a lot of time into it and have it all erased in an instant. With Shopify, you're more secure because you have your own store. But that also means you have to spend time figuring out their platform and how to create a website. I recommend Joe's free course.

What’s the payment gateway for Shopify or Woocommerce that isn’t PayPal or Stripe? Stripe doesn’t allow drop shipping. PayPal can shut you down for no reason. Running your own store is great but the problem is the payment gateway that isn’t going to steal your money.

Shopify payments is what I use along with PayPal, have had my PayPal for 10 years with no issue

@@RealJoeRobert Shopify payments is powered by Stripe, they don’t support drop shipping. PayPal I’m blacklisted but I would never trust leaving my money in their accounts.

So what do you have to do to get a comment through in the facebook group? I've only ever asked two questions and both were denied? I wasn't self promoting and they were pretty relavent questions to POD in general? What is the point in being in the group if you can't even ask questions and interact with people? Seems kind of stupid tbh.

I dont think its bad advice for beginners to go on a marketplace because not many people have money to spend $30 a month on a website and money to spend on ads.

If you don’t have $30 a month you shouldn’t be starting a business. To be fair, I was talking about the general advice thats out there that beginners regardless of how much $$ they have for their POD store should just start on a marketplace

@@RealJoeRobert there r ALOT of millionaires who started businesses with just $100 to their name. U can most def start a business on a budget. This is y ppl r liking the POD model starting with amazon merch on demand and etsy because its what they can afford to have a chance on making money online. So to discourage ppl to say if u dont have $30 a month then dont start a business ur basically telling ppl it cant be done. There are still real life stories on here that ppl r still making a KILLING on etsy and they jus started a month ago. It can be done.

Zero cents to a multimillionaire is the whole point of the American dream and not the American way. Further reason why no one should be listening to your daft advice.
