@Drew Sinn There are many components to doing a pro job. One place I found that successfully combines these is the coop magic tactic (check it out on google) without a doubt the most incredible course that I have ever heard of. Check out this extraordinary website.

Old video but could you guys tell me the size of grill and doors below. This seems like a dumb problem but I can’t find one brand that has same length and width doors as the grill. I want my setup to be uniform like this.

Thanks! Are you asking about the lip of the brick where the doors screw into? I would be hesitant to put anything that would make it hard to close the doors. If you are talking about the general storage area under the appliances, you do need gas to be able to flow freely to the vent panels for safety if there is ever a leak.

Most grills have a safety requirement of 21 inches or so for flammable surfaces near the top of the grill. The siding directly behind the grill doesn't look non flammable....

The siding behind this island was hardie plank siding. Always check your specific grill manual though for specific distances.

The outdoor kitchen looks great, but grills under an eve or other structure has lead to house fires. 10 Foot min. from structures is recommended by fire professionals. Per the National Fire Protection Association: Gas grills were involved in an average of 3,300 structure fires annually. Leaks or breaks were primarily a problem with gas grills. Charcoal or other solid-fueled grills were involved in 600 structure fires. That fire place looks as safe as an indoor fireplace, yet can't wind blow embers into the house as the door is swung open?
@BBQGuys
@BBQGuys 5 жыл бұрын
Greetings - thanks for your comment! We definitely recommend that the installation of any grill or fireplace meet the building and fire codes for your location, and this one does. We also recommend that any built-in gas grill installation be signed off on by a licensed plumber or natural gas technician. The fireplace is gas-fueled, and as such generates no sparks or burning embers. Again, thanks for watching!

Thanks for your feedback. I'm thinking that **Carbon Monoxide** is another reason to keep a BBQ far from a house. Additionally, windows and door could allow smoke or leaking gas to enter. BBQs have caused fire balls from a gas leak. Personally, I would put mine 15 feet from anything flammable. It seems sensible to design for **human err.** Worse news stories out there, but check out the photo in this one. It reached the 2nd story roof! Article title: "Gatineau BBQ fire caused by propane leak" Thanks again for your feedback, and have a great day.
