LOVE Griswolds and wig-wags!!!!

Very nice collection of railroad crossing signals. My dad was a railroad engineer for 43 years. He passed away many years ago; however, would have been overwhelmed to have these in his backyard. When cabooses were being phased out in the late 70s early 80s he was seriously considering buying one (the railroad he worked for was selling them for $500) and having it transported to our property.

Thats so neat ive always love the different railroad crossing signals even cooler that they are in your collection as a train rail lover its very unique to see that

What a cool collection! I have always wanted to see a wigwag or Griswold in person, and I'm thinking about visiting a train museum so I can. Also what lovely horses!

Cool setup

Great collection. I got the bug a couple years ago as I was trying to figure out how to decorate my new home office. I have always been a grease monkey but never realized the amazing old petroliana that existed until I went to set up my office. Now my office has about 20x 1950 pressed steel Tonka's I put them in old wood crates I made into shelving then I made metal rod shelfing for all my oil cans. I have good year, Texaco dyno and a bunch others including some real cool obscure signs. I have a very small collection of old thermometers as well then I found some 1920-1950 hard back books anyway sorry look at me ramble on when nobody cares, for those that have the bug they know it's hard not to talk about it and try to tell people about it like 1 more thing I have the full center fold of the 1968 fird line up in perfect I mean perfect condition it's beautiful has the mustangs in the center wow is it pretty and only valuable to me but to me it's priceless. Anyway I love you see other people with the bug. Sorry to go on and on

That's super cool. I just acquired my first two Magnetic Flagman wigwags last month. One will get displayed inside, the other will be along my driveway, along with two highway flashers. Did you do any restoration work on your wigwags? Oh, and that upper quadrant is cool. I only have one banner, so I'll probably make my own, but I have two replica castings of upper quadrant counterweights.
