Wonderful video about the new and improved upgrades over the previous model. Looks like the LX4042 will be a big seller quickly. Thanks to Kubota for seeing the needs and making them happen. Having the two representatives from Kubota there to help explain the upgrades too was a big help too Mike, three heads are definitely better than one even though we trust what you say and show about the equipment you have purchased or are using around there. You all make up a great team. Thanks for sharing with us. Fred.

I've got a Kubota B3030 from the 2009 time frame. Kubota sure is working hard at talking me into a later model feature rich tractor. I really want a cab this time, I've had enough of the open station and bug bites and stings that go along with an open station.

I have to admit I admire the equipment you have to work with. I almost went for one of the RK tractors you were using a few years back. I couldn't quite put enough pennies together to buy one. While I love watching your videos, I guess I'll have to stick with my 1965 Sears Suburban 8 and handtools to get the job done.

Speaking of upgrades you didn't think you needed, I have a clamshell bucket on my L3901 that far exceeds my expectations of its usefulness. Weight is an issue but with my backhoe on it continually, they add greatly to stability.

Great to see Kubota adding features. These are all things that us green guys take for granted. I always have auto throttle on except doing loader work. When driving into a pile and slow down the loader hydraulics will slow down as well. So for that reason I don’t use it. But just about everything else I love it.

Kubota has great advertising on your channel. We have a Kubota dealership here in Hickory, NC. I think of you every time I go past it. I'll never own a tractor, but if I was, it would be a Kubota LX4020. Your story of the old apple orchard begs me to ask you to hurry and plant the fruit trees you plan for your newly cleared and graded area so your kids and grandkids will have their own stories about Paps orchard he grew. Man, there's always such good stuff on this channel. No wonder I look for a new post every day. Thanks for today's informative and enjoyable video. I love this channel.👍🚜❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸

Great point on the bees. i have an open cab JD tractor. Just yesterday I brushhogged along a fencerow and got nailed about 4 times with yellow jackets. Bad enough I shut the tractor off. Jumped off and ran, swatting bees as I go. I was in a place with a fencerow on one side and a bank rolling off to the other side that was too steep for the tractor and 10ft brush hog. I was backing out of a tight space and a slow backout with the tractor was option 1 or a quick exit running away was option 2. I was definitely wishing for a cab tractor at that point.

Just a thought --- a bit of planting could change the "old" apple orchard to "the" apple orchard.". I like Courtland apples. They are a Mac offshoot, that tastes much the same but doesn't get as soft. They keep their crunch longer. Their rarity makes them valuable.

Hearing you guys talk about the cab saving you from bees, I remember when I was a kid and my dad was having trouble with the knotters on the baler not tying many bales, so I would sit on the baler and I could tie the bales that didn't tie as they came off the knotters. Even though my dad didn't have a cab on the tractor it didn't matter much in this senario, but the guy on the baler was the guy the bees got ! I would do some fast sprinting away from that baler for a few rounds of the field and the bales that didn't tie was something that had to be lived with.

Hey Mike, I know you are posting different videos then the topic I am going to tell you but it’s worth hearing. I just tried the heat deflector for the first time on the Breeo 24 inch and I have to say it works great. Took about an hour to really shine but it works great. Really deflects a bunch of heat once heated up. Great for the fall which is coming. Extends the use.

Guess who bought a Kubota L2501 last week because of Mike Morgan 🙋‍♂️. I even told the salesman, "I never thought I'd be influenced by an influencer, but here I am". I purchased the L2501 (they had a few left in stock since they are being replaced with the L2502). Also bought the LA526 loader, Land Pride BB1260 60" box scraper and Land Pride RTA1250 50" forward rotary tiller. So far, im very impressed. Ive already put 5 hours on it and put the loader and box scraper to the test. Thanks Mike, from a fellow (kind of) West Virginian!

Good Morning Morgans, loved the comparison between the two toys. Kubota reps were good. You know it was a new tractor when you could see the tie stickers still on the tread while you were bush hoggin eh rotary cutting. We had a 3 acre peach orchard when i was growing up but it has been gone for at least 50 years and it has grown up in pines now. Some one else said you need to plant back the apple orchard and that's fine and good but orchards require a lot of maintenance and work or it gets over run by native trees, just saying. There nice for sure ! Just was sitting in one at our county fair , it was sold prior to them bringing it down ! The E PTO , is also a really nice new change , I thought the sales guys would mention it , it keeps PTO at 540 automatically with minimal RPM s that also helps with noise and fuel efficiency, they told me with loaded tires ,loader , and 6’ belly mower 48k , that one had Goodyear tires , I guess most are coming thru with Titans , nice video!!!

I bought my first new tractor in 2008 Massey Fergison 1540, and it has the auto throttle and the 3-speed hydrostatic transmission. Mine is also a 40 hp diesel but you don't have to add that additive that you have to use in new diesel trucks and tractors. I don't have a cab on mine, but they were available I just didn't think I needed one but after watching you over the years I'm 66 years old and now I would love the AC and heat in the winter. I like the Kubota tractors, but they just added these features that the same size MF had at least 15 years ago. I think thats interesting don't you? Another GREAT video Mike, Thank You🙂

KUBOTA always has there finger on the pulse.I also believe they have less hands touching there products on a global scale before it leaves the factory, contributing to a lot less issues when a particular problem arises. That old apple orchard should have some new fruit trees planted, take it back to where it used to be for the future use.Nice little area.

I just put in an order for a 4020. My biggest complaint about kubota is the MASSIVE wait time from ordering to delivery. I've waited up to a year for parts, and it was almost 11 months to pick up a sidekick. They told me it could be 7 months to get a 4020. But hey, I guess that's better than seeing 200 sitting on a lot unsold.

I don't have a cab, but I'm sure if I did it would be just as loud. Would like a cab but then I would have to build a new garage to high to fit into my current garage 😢.

Just bought a brand new LX 4020 to move snow in mountain resort. dealership put howes diesel treatment in it and sold me a bottle to treat diesel because the temp i around 0 degrees F at 10000 feet elevation. I have 17.2 hours on the tractor and the thing won’t start. tried for 3 days finally put 911 in fuel filter and added a little to the tank as per specs. still won’t start. had to tow it through 4 feet of snow 150 yards as the kubota dealership in my area wanted to charge me 8 hours of labor just to drive out to and from my location because i didn’t buy it from them. took it to a kubota dealership in a different state but only 1.5 hours from me. They told me the DPF is completely clogged due to the fuel. SOOO no warranty and no insurance coverage. $12000.00 to fix. the tractor was only $39000.00 WTF! Kubota service and insurance and Sales all suck. They blame it on the other dealerships, no one is taking responsibility for taking care of tractor. Read your manual and warranty and insurance form. If it is fuel related. NO COVERAGE. DONT BUY Kubota! LIARS and Fraudsters. Does anyone have any insight or help here ? Just lost over $20000 on contracts for snow removal. and looks like i wont be getting this tractor back for at least 3 to 4 weeks, even if i pay the extortion money to fix it. and then im sure it will just gel up again and and wont start and will have to go through this all again in another 17 hours. only about 15 total gallons of fuel have gone through this engine 8 of which was put in by the dealer and i only put 12 oz. of howes in the 10 gallons of ulsd i bout from costco. teir one diesel.

Cost of diesel in north suburban Houston TX. is about $3.69-$3.79. Discount for cash over credit. This is auto diesel. Gasoline is abut $0.35 less. Since you asked the other day I thought I would take a look as I passed the service stations.. I do not use diesel so had to pay attention.

When I ordered my tractor I ordered auto throttle. Dealer was kind of neutral. I like it but I've never known any different.
