TBH season 2 to almost season 3 mid there was no strong story line same old gold hunt and same old stealing but El Dorado concept was nice and I think which is why Netflix even agreed to renew it but they have to close this out in season 4 or else it's a goner

Honestly I wish we could just have a chill season to cap the series off. Show their lives, them getting houses, Pope helping his family and boasting their ancestry. Them getting back at the cooks now that they’re rich. That would be way more fun to watch than season 2 & 3 again with a new antagonist. Netflix loves this formula of ramping the plot up until the show feels like it’s directed by Michael Bay and is completely different than what we fell in love with.

Who is blackbeard?

My theory (season 3 spoilers ahead) At the end of season 3, there’s a cut saying “18 months later” at the ceremony that the pogues are appreciated at. There’s a man that goes up to them at the very end and asks them questions. One thing to notice is that we haven’t seen Rafe since the air strip scene. So he was the only one not there. Topper was, on the other hand, but he didn’t seem very happy. My theory is that in season 4, Rafe and topper are going to seek revenge on the pogues. Going back to the man at the ending, something about him seemed off. The way the pogues acted was just strange. Almost like they felt something wrong. I personally think that he is sided with someone who doesn’t like the pogues or isn’t on their side. Maybe he knows limbrey and is on her side. I also think that either one of the pogues or someone else will pass. And wheezy will become a pogue. She hasn’t had many scenes since season 1 so I think she will make a return. I also think that JJ and kie will last but then have a fallout. I’m so excited though.
