It has both meaning but he meant the sexual one. He said in an interview how it was shooted. They had no time for drink. But after shooting he and cait went for a drink

Regardez Sam avec son sourire enjoleur et son arc de sourcil qui se lève, Cait et sa fausse pudeur. Vraiment ces deux là s'entendent à merveille. For everyone who didn't get what Sam said about filming the wedding night, he said "there may have been a little stiff one", referring to having a wee drink in between takes, but then Cait realized what he said & got the giggles. As you do. LOL Made me giggle too!

After watching this thoroughly enjoyable interview after eight years I have such a different perspective on their relationship! At the time they did seem infatuated with each other but I think now it was just the thrill of being associated with such a successful show as Outlander! Something they did not expect! They both struggled for quite a few years to be recognized as serious and successful actors and they were both so happy they made it! I think they are both gorgeous and remarkable people and I wish them both continued success in all their future endeavors after Season 8 is over! Just love them!💙🤍🙏🏻

Seeing this eight years later I can pretty easy guess they were infatuated with each other at the beginning. And I am no fangirl shipping them no matter what. They've grown, matured and definitely stabilized into their friendship but you can tell there WAS something more between them. And who could blame them - both beautiful inside and out, intelligent, sexy and with great and somewhat naughty sense of humor spending so much time together and going through some beautiful but also rough moments on their job. It would be really hard not to fall for each other. I know it would deffo be hard for me 😉

I like the bug-eyed surprised look Mr. Heughan gives when the interviewer asks about the wedding night. Does that look say "What, I'm married?" or does that look say "That's pretty private. Who asks about a person's wedding night?" I think maybe both, although that's the most un-private wedding night ever!

Oh my...they both said they were sent to a room to rehearse the wedding night scenes.Remember in the 1st seasons they worked those scenes out themselves.Mercy! They are still adorable together today.

Emily Dorsa She said on Paleyfest that what she meant by grotesque was "really unusual looking". Tbh when I first saw the same pics on IMDB I thought, Oh God he looks like a guy who is totally in love with himself, then i started watching some of the Outlander panels and thought, wait a minute this isn't the same guy is it? Certainly the pics that were on at the time didn't really do him justice.

Have you notice that Caitriona got a little TOC????, she keep getting a little bit of her tangue out, I notice it first in some of the Interview, including this one, & I also seen it, in the Episodes of outlander, it's not a nasty remark, I think it's cute????? Yes Sam was naughty but so cheeky, when he say he had a little stiff, but do not worry Sam I am sure you are a typical man & nothing unusual when you are, with such a lovely woman like Caitriona

If you watch them since about the 5th episode of the 1st season .Of course they are more then friends they were to affectionate towards each other at every event and off screen when captured by others .Of course it is their own business .But they were so not caring then an abrupt stopping .Evidently word came from higher up to stop it publicly.Most likely because of ratings .Sam has become a heart throb .They don't want to discourage the female audience.Look what has happened to vampire diaries over Ian and Nina Dobrev.They don't want the same thing on Starz.To much money involved. Catriona or Sam has not been seen dating or linked to anyone else after season 1 shooting .

Hi Cinthya, we asked if they had a little drink to loosen up before shooting the revealing wedding night scene and Caitroina, joked that there might have been a flask in a drawer.
