ABOUT OUTLANDER: In the sixth season of Outlander, the Frasers strive to maintain peace and flourish within a colonial society which - as Claire knows all too well - is unwittingly marching towards Revolution. Against this backdrop, which heralds the birth of the new American nation, Claire and Jamie have built a home together at Fraser’s Ridge. Very impressive, I can see what Diana Gabaldon said when she talked about her first time watching the audition tape. He starts speaking and a second later you no longer see Sam Heughan, you see Jamie Fraser. I can see he added a bit of gloom to the final performance, he seems to be slightly perkier here. But the voice and body language that is the Jamie I know and love is right there. Never going to understand why he doesn't get more recognition as an actor. He is so talented.

I find it so myself. Each time I see something else I missed, like at Brianna's wedding she answered her father in French "Je suis pret".. " I am ready". I realized the 2nd time I looked at that episode that "Je suis pret" was the Frazer clan's motto. And a host of other things became clearer the 2nd and 3rd time I looked at it.

He really is the perfect man for James Fraser. I cannot imagine Jamie not being Jamie. It's the right casting that calls for the love and attention that people so much love about this show. Outlander forever changed my life. I will miss the show so much. I've rewatched some episodes over and I still cry just the same.

Finally, after all this time, we get to see this…. It’s slightly different than the final enactment of the real scene, and it’s brief, but the charm in his eyes, his voice and his facial expressions are definitely the Sam we have come to know.

Just finished watching for the third time through. Really a well-rounded cast. I know that the character of Claire, as the time traveler, was intended as the lead, and that finding the proper actress (as they obviously did in Catriona Balfe) was very material to the series having any chance of success... Nonetheless, casting Sam Heughan as James Alexander Malcolm Fraser was brilliant; his on-camera chemistry & interaction with Catriona as Claire gave everything else the context & the standard to pattern after and to strive for! Well done, all!
