// Here's a piano cover of the main theme song of one of my favorite TV series: "Outlander". In fact it is a traditional Scottish folk song, which was beautifully arranged for the series. Very simple but also very nice.
Note: played in G (key of sheet music) but transcribed in D (original key).

@@stephenkolody2744 *bonnie. And I meant the "sing me a song of a lad that is gone" version. They're alternative lyrics (speed bonnie boat) being the original. I meant the Outlander version was a cover of the cover poem, if that makes sense.

Hello, Stephan! I just discovered this gem while looking for arrangements of this lovely theme. For some reason, I did not receive notice of it in my subscription box when you posted it. I know you have your career demands, too. But what a splendor it is in your own beautiful style. Crazy about this television series, too - I've also read the novels, so I'm far ahead of the broadcasts, but it's still a thrilling story. I just love your cover on this song, all the others seem to be missing something but yours is beautiful. I was hoping I could get the sheet music or at least the notes. The sheet music that you shared last year doesn’t really sound like yours. Is it possible to get the notes/sheet music for your version? Or maybe tell me what you did to change it. Thank you

Has anyone been able to locate the sheet music for this particular arrangement? I have looked everywhere, including the link someone gave and it is not the same. I also cannot find this guy anywhere. He has such talent, he could be making a lot of money sharing his arrangements.

For the sheet music go to “SHEET MUSIC PLUS.COM” it’s about five bucks. You can transpose to any key. Another is MUSICNOTES.COM . About the same price. Now, there is a trick with these guys. When you print, you only get one print, unless you tell your printer to print more. Save one for your music library so you can make copies. Make copies first thing. The other thing is about buying sheet music, there is a copywriter law. But the law says you have the right of ownership to do with it what you want, like, if you need another copy for yourself, which is fine, but you can’t make copies to sell. So, on you ipad, do a screen shot,and print as many as you want. You paid for them and they are yours. The copywriter law allows that. Right of owner ship, check it out.
