In Stockholm, Sweden midnight outlaw streetraces are targeted by police in this night operation. What you might thought was only a police motorcycle turns out to be police helicopter with FLIR and super zoom as well as more patrol cars. It is clear that the police has prepared this operation to target the outlaw streetracers, many in their muscle cars that could have well up to and over 1000 HP.
-Stop for police
-Streetracing is apparantly a crime and police will target it specifically at times
-When police vehicles are around at strange places at strange times
odds are that there are more resources nearby (or in the air)
-Charged with: gross negligence in traffic (often mandatory prison sentence
a so called "artbrott"), attempt to seriously hurt an officer, sabotage against
blue light personnell and minor weapon offence.
-Looked like a properly tuned classic American V8, it did a fast launch there
at the start, too bad the helicopter couldnt zoom in on the sound.

what are your thoughts on the police motorbike (and I presume cars) following the Camaro in the beginning for quite some time?

I wonder if the cars also where unmarked? My guess only policebike and rest spectators or general public? The policebike never tried to go after 100% since he knew he had airsupport.

Is the car on impound? Another street race Mustang got crushed a couple of years ago. Might be the fate of this car also?

its a risk for this car to get destroyed as the police want to use the mustang as an example how the law should be used to impound and destroy streetrace cars as those are seen as a tool of crime when used illegaly on streets. tho this car got historic value in the car comunity since 80s we can hope it gets spared and dont meet a crusher.

Helicoopters are game over for street racers no matter what you drive.I had simillar accident when i was yonger.Helicoopter almost landed in front of my house he was hovering few meters above ground i remember faces of pilots.Drive safe!

Naah there is too many tunnels in stockholm. And some of them are long, verey long with alot of escapes

And in a few years the new tunnel is gonna open its gonna be over 21km long so it will prittymuch go under whole stockholm hahaha helicopter will not be thst usefull :P

I’ve also seen on very rare occasions where the car had high enough top speed and open road where they just plain outrun the helicopter

There's a video in Philadelphia from about 10 years ago where a helicopter was chasing a group of civics, they all just kept ducking and hiding and eventually the helicopter ran out of fuel and had to land and they all got away

Tune for top speed 340+ km/h, escape as fast as possible from land police, park the car somewhere close to a forest, jump out of the car and run into the woods, DONT go home! Walk to a public place (McDonald's, etc.), Go to toilet, wait for a while, exit while some other people around your hight are going to exit, walk a while beside them, then just go to the nearest public transport ( buy a ticket with cash only!) Back home and claim next morning that your car had been stolen. Viva no speed limit highways! (like what they have in Gernany).
