Super good version of the song - he really made it uniquely his own. What was with the judges getting up to go stand awkwardly in front of him while he performed…not dancing, not standing still, not even singling along. Just awkwardly loitering, lol.

sometimes the judges already predicted which judge the singer would choose based on the genre, texture of the voice, and song selection.

The Sound of Silence...goosebumps all the way...that couldn't have been easy. That quality and texture of voice and still be able to hold notes is a very rare combination. He did a stunning job. 😍 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

@@Shadowsphere1 Yes, that's the whole point, to get points...especially in the beginning. You must even choose a song that suits your voice and if it means it must be a popular song to get the audience on their feet, the you do exactly that. Get your foot at the door. If you pass the first stage, then you'll get proper training, coaching and advice. Not so?

Only one judge had a turn left and the one that turned didn’t have a turn left. He broke rules. They let him go thru but that judge had to lose 2 in the battle

I really dont like the blocking thing they do. It doesnt allow the singers to choose whomever they want as a coach. It can definately change their opportunities

I used to lose my mind when it happens too!! Especially when the contestant style is suited for a particular Coach but that's the beauty of the competition. Being able to change the course of the contestant with just a button; giving added advantages to the Coaches as this is their show, they're there to win too. Let's hope our favourite contestants won't go through it hahaha!

The 4th guy has the perfect voice for the song he chose. His tone and the way his voice rebounds to the dissonance in chords is incredible.
