If i had to decide which rapid response/aussault unit of the marines is scarier.... It´s the bikers/outriders. An aussault (or any jumper) marine will come down like a meteor and it´ll most likely be over on impact if not a split second later. A biker/outrider? You see him coming at you. You hear his steed roar. And there is not a damn thing you can do to stop him.

Lovely video brother! Having never experienced the thrill of a bike myself, it was nice to hear what my brothers do!

I love the intro and the Ultramarine's feeling of triumph and pride. It really shows just how much that the chapters of the 13th Legion, their beloved Realm, and by extension the entire Imperium, have missed and mourned their Primarch, and how in his absence, a quiet, despairing resignation had set in. The concession that, while they might make the end memorable, it would come sooner or later, and ultimately, nothing they could do could stop it. But all that changed when the chime from Belisarius Cawl's auto-reliquary sounded out, and all of those assembled, both friend and foe to Ultramar, froze and beheld the first steps of its master back into the world of the living. Roboute Guilliman, the Avenging Son, Primarch of the Ultramarines, has returned, and with him, for the first time since the last fires of Horus's great betrayal had died out, came *real change.* The Five Hundred Worlds restored to their former glory, with the greatest heroes of Guilliman's gene-line serving as Tetrarchs. The largest Founding of Astartes since the creation of the original legions with newer, stronger, faster, and more resilient warriors, armed and equipped with brand new weapons, armor, and vehicles that were the product of ten-thousand years of countless research. A grand crusade like nothing seen in millennia aimed not only to reclaim what was lost but to expand to realms never seen before. Once little more than cold embers, the fires of hope have been rekindled into a roaring bonfire by the simple fact that he is back.

This was fantastic Baldermort, as ever I always love these little dive into the specific models. I'm almost sorry there wasn't mention of ravenwing but I have no doubt the Dark Angels would chafe at being compared to mere outriders!

Hey Brother Baldermort, any plans to do a story/lore entry on some of the Horus Heresy units? Phoenix Guard, Destroyers, Varagyr terminators? Would be a good excuse to bring GremlinGirl in to narrate a Sister of Silence during the Battle of Prospero or something like that.

After this I deeply feel the need for an ultramarine video dedicated to the return of Roboute Guilliman. That ultramarine prospective you gave us at the beginning of this video made me feel their huge pride but also struggle… about having their primarch in the verge of death but in some way still alive. Maybe a Cato sicarius vid could be an option? Maybe just an old captain that went in stasis to become primaris and woke up, just to find that his primarch is alive. I still think the Forgeworld heresy era Outrider Bike squad are a) much cooler than the Primaris Outriders and 2) maybe the coolest looking bikes ever modeled for the 40k universe. They so perfectly blend gothic tech with retro sci-fi with their angled predatory beaks, side mounted boltguns, and the great blend of ATV wheels and suspension and gnarly pipe exhausts. And I say this as someone who holds my Primaris Outriders very near and dear to my heart.

I have the urge to Play a battle and set up my outriders now 😀. Awesome video brother 👍

Hey Baldemort, in your opinion, based on the current lore and settings black library has woven for us do you expect another loyalist or traitor primarchs to return? It appears, to me at least, that either the the Lion or possibly Lorgar are next to return with the hints given following the plague wars series. But I would appreciate if someone as more versed with the lore as yourself would weigh in. Thanks, your entries are one of if not the reason why I love going deeper into 40k's lore/naratives.

Outriders are possibly my favorite primaris models so far. It doesn't hurt that as a Blood Angles player they are quite good on the table.

I know you’ve already said you would cover other science fictions settings as well as fantasy in time, but Im curious, which one do you think you’d do first? I imagine Star Wars would be cool or maybe the world of Tolkien. Perhaps even Star Trek! Gosh! So many possibilities!!!

I rather desperately pray to the Emperor that McFarlane gets to an outrider bike for the 7 inch figure line very soon. He's produced two bikes for Batman in the same scale, and both of those bikes are amazing for the price tag. He's going to NAIL this bike when he gets around to it. I actually put a photo of an Ultramarine on the Bat Hellcycle on my IG because he fits perfectly in terms of scale, but stylistically, it's not the best fit. The Space Marine really need their unique bike.

On your words on Guilliman, I offer you a third alternative. He deployed units to the various chapters to both strengthen the Imperium's position and simultaneously place warriors loyal to him and him alone when the time came to usurp the throne.

Its been scientifically proven that the three coolest things ever invented are: 1: Motorcycles 2: High caliber automatic weapons 3: Power armor. So, then, it stands to reason that a power armored space marine riding a motorcycle armed with high caliber automatic weapons is the most concentrated form of coolness possible to exist within the known universe.

I just wish for the day when the distinction between Firstborn and Primaris is erased and all are considered Astartes. ...mainly because I want to use my Land Raiders again. There is no logical excuse for Primaris marines not to fit in them if Terminators, Centurions, Custodes, Custodes in Terminator armor and Primarchs (in Horus Heresy) can all do it.
