If they slow me down, I haven't noticed. And my turning seems the same also. It's the rudder I added that changed how I turn. I used to turn on a dime. With the rudder, it's like an 18 wheeler making a wide, sweeping turn. Still, I can raise the rudder and, or the pontoons out of the water anytime I like.

The center of the pontoons are only 12 to 14 inches away from the side of the yak. The farther away they are the more stable they are, I think, and I was afraid they might not be very effective at such a short distance, but they work great. And aren't as goofy looking being closer to the boat, IMO.

throwing a cast net from a kayak take skill iv been working my way up started throwing a 3ft from my yack but tom im a try n throw the big boy idk spand but itz literaly taller than me at least 6ft wish me luck maybe tom will b the first time i fall in but ill have it on gopro if i do
