Between September 7-14, 1996, Tupac’s family & friends waited outside of the hospital in which Pac remained in intensive care before his untimely passing at age 25. Here is that footage from “Dear Mama: The Saga of Afeni & Tupac Shakur” on FX. All 5 parts are available for streaming on Hulu.

I was six years old when Tupac died, I REMEMBER the night so well cause, l remember hearing my step mother telling my father Tupac has died. I remember hearing pain in my father voice. You see, my father didn't like rap music but he sure like Tupac political views. I also remember hearing my step mother saying to my father, he will grow up liking rap music because of Tupac.
