Donald Trump’s conviction on 34 felony counts marks the end of his historic hush money trial but the fight over the case is far from over.
Now comes the sentencing and the prospect of a prison sentence.
Outside of Trump Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump supporter Debbie Macchia from Florida said the conviction doesn't affect her feelings about the former president at all and Trump did nothing wrong.
"We don't know what's going to happen next, but we'll prevail. We're not worried. We're here to support the president like we always do and that's it, simple as that," Macchia said.
The presumptive Republican nominee still has to deal with three more criminal cases and a campaign that could see him return to the White House.
Luke Waterman also waved a sign near Trump's Mar-a-Lago home and said Trump is a "despicable human being." But he says Trump's upcoming criminal cases are weightier than this one.
The Manhattan jury found Trump guilty of falsifying business records after more than nine hours of deliberations over two days. Trump angrily denounced the trial as a “disgrace,” telling reporters he's an “innocent man.”
