Chapter 11 Why did Ponyboy hope Bob’s parents hated him and the other greasers? Ponyboy had hoped Bob’s parents would be mad rather than forgiving because he doesn’t believe he should deserve to be forgiven. Why do you think Randy came to visit Ponyboy? Randy explains that he came to see Ponyboy to see how he was feeling, but it seems he is really there because he feels stress about the upcoming trial. Why did Ponyboy try to assume responsibility for the stabbing death of Bob? Ponyboy might have wanted to prevent Johnny from having his name ruined after death. What was significant about Darry calling Ponyboy “little buddy”? Typically, Soda was the only person who referred to him as "little buddy." This moment is significant because it displays Darry's love and concern for Ponyboy. Darry understands that Pony is struggling to accept the fact that he has lost his friends, and attempts to console his younger brother. Can we get an F in the char for 9 being deleted off the channel randomly?

I think Ponyboy felt Bob's death was his fault because if it wasn't for him asking for Johnny asking to run away him after his fight with Darry they wouldn't have been jumped nor would Johnny have to kill Bob to save Ponyboy from being drowned leading to the Windrixville situation and eventually the death of two of his friends. He took the blame because he felt he was the cause of all these chain events. Johnny name wouldn't ruined when most people didn't even know he killed anyone,it was Dallas with the ruined name which Pony Boy said multiple times in chapters 10 and 11.
