Lmao we had “Outsiders Day” on Monday. We had chocolate cake and all the 8th graders skipped second hour for it. Pretty cool. I don’t mind reading this book in class. Actually, one of the best books I’ve ever read so far.

Chapter 7 What bad news did Ponyboy and his brothers learn about Johnny’s condition? The bad news that Ponyboy and his brothers learned was that Johnny’s back had been broken, he had third-degree burns, he was in severe shock, and that he could die. The Newspaper article praised the actions of Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dallas; however, something in the column about he and his brothers disturbed Ponyboy. Explain. The newspaper article says "They shouldn't be separated after they had worked so hard to stay together." It makes Ponyboy upset because he thinks that him and Soda will be put into boys homes and he doesn't want to go to a boys home after he and Darry were finally getting through to each other. According to Randy, what did most of the Socs want from their parents? Randy said that most Socs want their parents to say no to them. Why did Randy decide not to participate in the rumble? Randy decided to not participate in the rumble because he was convinced that no one would win and no one would care if the Greasers won. Also Randy was sick of people getting hurt and some killed for no reason. Within 2 days of the posting of this comment I should have done chapters 8 and 9 so please hold on for a bit
