I was at the Toronto Show, The speakers sound was amazing. One of my test was to lower the volume level and see what you lose. Guess what, Nothing!!! Another person test, Was to play a track that had low frequency that usually causes speaker breakup. These speaker past with flying colors. Over the three days of the show, I found myself coming back to the room again and again. Most of people coming into the had the same experiences as I did. You just have to listen and you will see what I mean. Good work guys. There is nothing like your system at the show.

happy to hear you got to audition these speakers. I am a little sad to see the loaner I have here leave. If I could sell my Focal, I would buy the X3 in white color. :)

I was at the Audiofest in Toronto also 👍…now “affordable “ on this side of the border is 😂 I did talk to the folks and yes…it’s a little amplification picky . Great video.

Coincidence, I was also at the TAF and this was my favourite room. When the guy doing the demo said the price I understood 18k but it was actually 8k. Impressive

Hey Mike, I used to talk to you when you were helping Woo. Always appreciate your thoughts and comments. I know the X3 plays a lot lower than the X2’s but you really like the 2’s low end in your room. Do you feel they’ll need subs to sound their best to “fill in the blanks” of the low end? Thanks

We at Hifi-Loft in NYC love all the Boressen X series speakers. We are selling many of them. A truly great product.

These look really good, I'm sure they sound the part. Though I always wonder why some of these ultra high end speaker companies use really small bass drivers, that would mean lower spl levels whenever you want to let lose

One of my reference tracks for bass is Till Bronner and his bassist playing A Thousand Kisses live inside a bare room. You can find it if you haven't already. I wonder how the X1 handles the low notes in your room.

Update, i have returned to my Audiovector R1 Arrete speakers. The Borresen speakers are almost too clean sounding resulting in a rather cool and clinical sound. I was not emotionally engaged in the music with the Børresen

@@HiFiInsider I don't agree. 8.800 is not affordable for hiend. Affordable is maybe 5000 usd. There is a lot of hiend equipment for around 8.000 - 10.000 usd. But ultra hiend is another thing. Ultra hiend is 30.000 usd and more...

There is no speaker for this price with this building & sound quality. Of course affordable is questionable, but $5000 is also not affordable for a lot of people. There are plenty of good speakers for $2000 too. So where does it start and where does it end? In my opinion these speakers are affordable if you look at what they are, how they are made and especially how they sound 😊

I would rather have the focal with some decent drivers you have . What can you expect from a 4 inch driver. Looks like you paying for the finish of the cabinet.

i was skeptical too until I heard it. bass was feel and punchy. Sad to say the bass from X2 is better than my Focal. If I upgrade, i would go for the bigger X3.

@@HiFiInsider Can you explain what the difference sonic wise between the X2 and X3? Specifically I'm curious about the mid bass punch and overall dynamics. Does the X3 just sound more refined?

Audiophile craziness, you think a pair of speakers are worth $550K. That would buy a lot of meals for hungry homeless folks...can anyone justify that for a pair of loudspeakers.

what the hell??? Just about every audiophile channel on youtube seems to be shilling for Børresen! It cannot be a coincidence that EVERYONE thinks that Børresen speakers are the greatest speakers every made - audiophiles rarely agree on anything involving sound. I hate Børresen and will NEVER EVERY buy any Børresen product because of this.
