The combination of melted cheese in between each layer of potato, a blanket of plain yogurt and savory bacon will raise your thumbs high. It will keep you company during the fall baseball season and make a perfect menu for the upcoming year-end party.
[Oven-roasted Potato with Butter Ingredients] - 5 servings -
- Ingredients: 5 Potatoes (Small), 3 Bacon, 7 Sliced cheddar, 3tbsp Plain yogurt(or Sour cream), Parsley flakes, Parmesan cheese
- Seasoning: 2tbsp Butter, 1tbsp Olive oil, 2 pinches of Salt, Pepper
[Instruction]
1.Thoroughly wash potatoes and leave the skin. Place the potatoes in between chopsticks and evenly slice them. Leave them in cold water to remove excess starch, and then remove moisture.
2. Cut cheddar cheese slices into six pieces. Chop bacon and pan-fry until it turns golden and crispy. Put the bacon on the kitchen towel to remove grease.
3. Microwave butter for 30 minutes and mix well with seasoning ingredients. Brush the butter in between the potato layers and bake for about 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 200°C. (Adjust the cooking time accordingly to the sizes of potatoes.)
4. Put the cheddar pieces in between the potato layers and cook 15~20 more minutes until the cheese is completely melted.
5. Drizzle plain yogurt over the baked potato and sprinkle the bacon chips and parsley flakes.
6. Serve on plates and enjoy.
