Thank you so much 😊! Yes, I LOVE it this way. It actually looks dark because I cook it until the skin has the consistency, almost, of being fried. The flour on top kind of makes the skin dry out. MUCH Love!

HEY Sis! HOw are you? Did you have any damage during Ida? I thought about you and prayed that you were okay. This smothered chicken is good, and so easy. I was raised to coat it with floud and then cook it like you do smothered pork chops. BUT, this way is less fattening, too (OR I hope so). Thanks for your continued support! MUCH Love!

Yes, Ma'am! My mom and dad would always welcome them. Their seasonings were the BEST.! Unfortunately, they are not the same. I purchased a can of black pepper online and it's not the same. MANY say that all black pepper is the same. NOT True. I like Badia seasonings, but their black pepper has absolutely no taste. Yes, the good ole days were some happy times for us kids. We were rich in spirit! Thanks SO much for watching and commenting! MUCH Love!

@@mannysmom. Last purchase of Watkins black pepper at HEB was not strong. Hardly no taste. Most of everything these days are a hit or missed situation. Staying prayed up and living moment by moment is one of the key words to live by right now. Find something good enjoy because in a moment seasons changes. Have a blessed one.🙏🙏🙏

Hi! No, I didn't in this video. I have when I used the roaster pan. It cooks better in this pan because it's not as deep! It is one of my favorites, too! Thanks so much for watching and commenting! MUCH Love!

Hi! I cook mine a little over an hour at 350. It's SO good. I usually cook this about twice a month. I sometimes use the McCormick Chicken Gravy packet instead of using the flour.
