The much-needed rain in Gqeberha has resulted in the City having to evacuate more than 1000 residents from their flooded homes. The affected areas are Jachvlate, New Brighton, Motherwell, Kwazakhele, and Airport Valley to name just a few. Residents are being accommodated in community halls and churches where they are receiving assistance. Newzroom Afrika’s Siphosethu Booi speaks to a resident.
