Anyone else think modern commercials aren't even tolerable for 10 seconds, but can sit and watch these old commercials for hours? Just so much more entertaining.

I was a kid in the 70's. A teenager in the 80's, and a young adult in the 90's. There will be commercials that trigger memories, childhood moments, and special times, and THAT is why I love these videos!

As a child of the late 80's, I used to always watch TV to fall asleep. Now, as a stressed out adult with too much on my mind to fall asleep easily, putting on old commercials from simpler times always helps me to fall right asleep like I did when these aired and I was a care free child. Thank you for taking me back to these much simpler times!!!!

The only flavor of Ohs is honey oat. At least it wasn't discontinued. I miss the honey graham flavor.

I wonder if it’s possible to get some of these old food products still. Because a lot of them are none existent 30 years later. But the companies still exist.

Wow that Now's the time drinking commercial, it reminded me of the excitement of drinking alcohol at a bar but it's not actually that cool so you need to really get drunk

These compilations are a mixed bag - I constantly play around with capture and rendering settings when I upload commercials, so there is a wide variety of settings in these. Lately I have been playing around with cropping virtualdub/huffyuv captures to 704x480 (cropping 8 lines from left/right, 16 from the bottom, then adding a border of 8 lines top/bottom) but most of these commercials were rendered at 640x480 so that's what the final render of this compilation was done at. For volume 03, I'll likely make a 704x480 final product if I continue rendering commercials like this. Cheers.

I am not worried if people think I could be from Canada because I'm watching some weird commercials. I have also watched video walking tours with people in the streets and malls, so it seems like Canada is diverse
