Best Overkill Album? Puh, definately not! Sorry, Taking over simply their best! The Voice skills is amazing on that and every Song is a Killer, which i would not claim about U.T.I. Top 5? What about "The Legacy" / "Beneath the remains" / "Breaking the Silence" / "Forbidden Evil" / and yes, "Darkness Descends" / "Excursion Demsie"

Sid Falck the drummer who is also known by the name Bob Falck used to be the drummer of Paul Dianno's Battlezone band before joining to Overkill, he left Overkill after the Horrorscope album, when he was asked why he left the band, he answered that he never liked Thrash Metal, anyway, he did a great job on drums, this album was the first Overkill album that i ever bought, not the best Overkill album but one of my favorites, Hello from the gutter is classic Thrash Metal, thanks for sharing.

You're certainly in for a treat! They're my favorite thrash metal band of all time, and I can honestly say there's not a single clunker in their entire discography of 19 albums. My #1 in their catalog would be "The Electric Age" (2012), but they've got classics all over the place. I see your post is 6 months old now, so hopefully you're well acquainted with these legends by now!

When I was listening to Overkill for the first time in 2020, I thought I was listening to Iron Maiden for a second. I say this because the two vocals sounds almost similar to each other

Been listening to overkill since power in black lot of albums from this band first five albums are classic overkill some albums are just fair the 90s were different then the 80s but since ironbound they have been doing just fine

It’s weird, I’m usually a black or death metal fan more than I am a thrash fan but something about this band is ingenious... They’ve always managed to create something new and different no matter what sound they choose

most thrash is like more tame death / black but good thrash is just as relevent imo, i really like Overkill, Testament, Exodus and some others. The big 4 is kinda boring tho

So sad bobby Gustafson had to leave the band because the band wanted to do a cover tunes and still charge regular price tickets for a live event at least bobby Gustafson had the balls to say that's wrong to the rest of the band
