I remember renting this game 6 times before I finally got out of the freezer room. Each time thinking "this time I'm figuring it out!"

Cutting through the floor with the Laser Knife was by far the most absurd thing to figure out. My Aunt and I had to contact the 900 help line in the manual to get through that part. No kidding, we had to PAY to complete our already purchased game.

I've never played overblood before but that made me really sad whenever peepo died.

8:10 that's the most majestic video game walk I've ever seen.

This is definitely a sink or swim game (or alternately, fall over and over, but get back up and keep trying), but that just makes completing it a fulfilling reward in itself, which is good because the actual ending leaves much to be desired.

This game actually looks really impressive compared to other titles released in 1997, for example compare this to Final Fantasy 7 (one of my all time favorite games) and this game has much better graphics, and voice acting. Thats pretty impressive when you consider Final Fantasy 7 was the most expensive game ever made at the time.

Oh my god, the "PIIIPOOO!!!" cutscene and the one leading up to it has to be one of the greatest moments in gaming history.

This is a cool idea for a series, and I have a suggestion: Koudelka. It a pretty lesser known JRPG for PlayStation 1 with an atmosphere very reminiscent of Resident Evil, and its pretty great. I'm not sure it will meet your standards of being practically unknown, but maybe check it out.

No shit back in the day when I was like 12 my friend and I rented and beat this game in one night. Back then good ps1 games were hard to come by and the internet wasn't as solid as it is now, so I remember this actually being fun as I was also a big fan of resident evil, which this was obviously trying to mimic. "PEEEEPOOOOOOOOOO!" was a joke for a long time, thanks for the trip down memory lane bud, cheers!

The original OverBlood is actually a game that sticks out very starkly in my mind. Not because I played it; because there was a period of time when my stepfather was playing it and I'd always see it on the goddamn TV when I walked through the living room. There were several games like that, including Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. Most of them I later found the opportunity to re-visit when I was older and became quite attached to (Blood Omen being one such game), but OverBlood is a game I was never "lucky" enough to find anything connected to until I saw your video on OverBlood 2. At which point I was seriously glad not to have wasted any time on the series.

Okay listen up, I know this'll sound sadistic but the fucking death screams in this videogame are unmatched in hilarity for me. I mean just fucking listen at 9:19. I literally cant stop laughing. When I played this myself as a kid and fell during the jumping bits him throwing his hands up in the air and falling straight down like a metal plank while screaming his ass off also slaughtered me.

OverBlood 2 is not a survival horror, it's action adventure rpg. As for the original OverBlood, I honestly think it's underrated, for it's time, the game was pretty decent, for a game made by a very small company with a very small team.

I'm ready for Overblood 2! .... Oh. That was three years ago...

I thought I was the only person in the world who ever played OverBlood--I never even knew it got a sequel--but I never owned it; I picked it up as a rental back in the day, and only got as far as the part where Millie starts accompanying you. You just provided some much needed closure to an unresolved issue from this subscriber's past.

Never did get to finish Overblood 2. There was a glitch in the game I got when I went through a certain door that crashed the game. I thought it was a glitch from the factory as I sold the copy I had and got another off another company shelf. Turns out it was the same game, just the shop down the road bought it to stock their shelves. I was ten, didn't know any better. XP

Peepo legit got me sad and I haven't even played this damn game.
