I have been following Mickayla’s progress for a few months now and even though I am a mom of a 35 years old… I learn from this precious young woman . We keep you in our prayers sweetie

So proud of this mighty little warrior. I can’t even imagine what her mom must have been thinking and going through when the paramedic tried to make sure she didn’t fall apart in front of her daughter. She’s literally a miracle and her Spirit is absolutely beautiful. Everything her trainer said about her ability and drive is what a true athlete is. I’m praying for her to walk across that stage

Of all the wonderful videos I've seen, this was the first one where she was really frustrated about not being able to do her make-up and other things by herself. I am always amazed at her courage and affability and would suggest that she watch a Meg Johnson video, for some encouragement!

I feel so sorry for her, but she is strong-willed. This story makes me think of the actor Christopher Reeves and his accident. Christopher Reeves was an actor who played Superman, and on May 27, 1995, he fell off his horse and broke his neck, leaving him paralyzed in a wheelchair.
