In my own eyes I’d find myself smarter than others, but not better than everyone. I acknowledge knowing that there’s others better than me, and so I have a firm rule to keep on improving and never slack. I do not want my confidence to waver as it can make me feel depressed as I do not have control anymore over myself, but I’m afraid of being overconfident because I might slip up and fall on my own sword. I’d say that my modesty is on average as I have confidence in my skill and will power but I never ever let myself feel superior about it since I could mistakenly under-estimate someone and lose.

I’m not fooled by overconfidence. I don’t let my brain trick me into believing that I’m something that I’m not. Everyone else does though. I can literally go through life without making any mistakes. The times that I’ve failed has always been someone else’s fault. Like that time I overdosed on prescription drugs. I was perfect. It was the stupid pharmaceutical company that messed up. The idiots didn’t tell me to read the damn bottle. How can they screw that up sooo bad and it’s their job? Luckily my immune system is better than everyone else’s. I came out of that coma pretty fast.

The culture has emphasized too much on confidence, instead it makes people overconfident and nobody talks about the problem of being overconfident. I was overconfident and I have made many mistakes because of that, it’s not diffident if you want to be humble and realistic about things

I have been accused of being overconfident for a cooking grill position. It was just going to be a temp job while going to school. I have previous management experience and have done alot harder things but no I'm over confident lol. Wiring a network and configuring IP's is much harder believe me.

2:00 Uhh I think it's possible that a lot of people just know a lot more about what Mother Teresa did than the people who made that study.

The people in this video are so cringe. I don’t know what would be worse…. If they’re legit or if they’re acting
