Overcooked! All You Can Eat #1 - The Complete Package?

Overcooked All You Can Eat has finally come to more platforms - Switch, Steam, Xbox One, and PS4! If you haven't heard of it, AYCE combines all levels from the previous games and adds more stuff like new chefs and levels.
We've decided to replay the original Overcooked levels in AYCE! Better visuals but still no throwing.

I'm so happy you're playing this! OC 2 system definitely broke the score with those "flaming" tips lol. I think that's why so many people were upset at the lowered difficulty when it first came out. I remember we used to send out green orders before the dying orders just to get more tips.

Love your content. I've been a gamer my whole life. Finally roped my wife into the gaming life with this game. Shes totally hooked. Love watching your 4star vids to see that it's possible. Thanks for your content.

I agree Overcooked is a great game to introudce people to games. And it's our all-time favorite game series now. Overcooked also puts your relationship to the test in some ways, something that videogames don't usually do.

@@MixarThe yeah some of the hard lvls we call divorce lvls. Hehe. But anytime we get to frustrated we always take a break. But when you do finally four star a hard board it's a great feeling of accomplishment with the wife.

The Overcooked 1 levels have 4 stars as well, working through them at the minute before moving on to Overcooked 2. Plenty to keep you busy, looking forward to seeing how you both do them.

Yep, it was worth the wait! Have you already played it yourself? If yes, what's your opinion on the remastered levels and the game as a whole?

More points because you have the combo-bonus. In original Overcooked you could only get 6, 4 or 2 points for tips. Now you can get up to 32 (8*4) points for tip.

Hi guys, your videos have always been a great help for those 4 stars. Was wondering how you like AYCE, I've read on reddit and some Steam reviews that the game is buggier and laggy compared to Overcooked 2, did you guys notice anything drastic? We only play offline.

Hi! I don't think we've noticed any bugs tbh :) Buuut, we haven't placed AYCE till the end tho, only for 4 hours

Why you waste good soup at the end?!? But seriously I can't wait to get Steam to get this. This will be fun, & frustrating, especially if the old levels get a fourth star...

Just for fun! I love the sound effect when you dump something in the trash. :D And if the old levels get 4 stars, we'll have to replay them anyway (unless Team17's changed the way unlocks work). It's good that All You Can Eat is pretty much out on every major platform now (I think it's Switch, Steam, PS4/PS5 and Xbox). It's a lot of content, but the only downside is that it's not free to existing owners of OC1+2.

@@MixarThe So if you own the 2 games you have to pay for it but it you don't own them then you don't have to? I'm a bit confused. Also is that the case for all platforms?

@@jbzhummerh2gamer It's just that some remastered games are free to existing owners of the original games (e.g. it was the case for Bioshock: if you owned the original Bioshock on Steam, Bioshock: Remastered was automatically added to your account). But since All You Can Eat adds more content, they went a slightly different way. I believe on some platforms you get a time-limited 15% loyalty discount if you own OC1 or OC2. But you have to pay for the game either way, so it's not free. Sorry for the confusion. Hope it's clear now!
