Overcooked: Tips for getting all 3 stars

Hey everyone, Eezore here and in this video I share some Edvice on getting all 3 stars for the campaign Solo for the game Overcooked.
I'll start off by staying this is much easier with two people, but is very much possible solo. I'll have a few videos showing a more thorough walkthrough for certain stages that gave me some serious trouble. If your looking for a specific stage check out that playlist, and if you don't see it then let me know and I'll make one for you.
First tip, DASH! They never mention in the game that you can dash, but you can and it's SERIOUSLY AWESOME! I would've had a much easier time with most of the stages had I known that right off the bat.
Next, prep prep PREP! Always try to have one chef chopping and the other running around setting stuff up. You have 8 seconds before you need to swap back to chopping for use all 8 of those seconds!
Set up your soups before you need them! You can store the soup in the pot then throw the pot on when you need it! This is very helpful in stage 2-2 with the mice......
Pay attention to the level! Some levels move around, and others you have to move. examine the layout the first time you try it, then really attempt the 3 stars on your second time through.
Each order stays up about 1:30 to 2 minutes, so when you get down to the last minute you can actually skip some orders to get quicker ones done. Just be careful to not miss orders....
You can throw items on the ground! Some stages it makes sense to just dump all the items on the ground then deal with them later, and it can really help out!
That about does it for the tips, as long as you use THE DASH and prep as much as possible, then you should be good. Let me know in the comments if I missed anything, or if you have a good tip that I didn't mention! Thank you all for watching, and keep your story going!

Dude, grab a plate when about to serve. Go up to the pot and the soup ends up on the plate, then you can serve the plate while the pot stays on the stove instead of having to go and put the pot back.

Great idea! I just lug the pot around everywhere because I'm next to it more often than the plates. Great advice!

I didn't learn about dashing until 6-1, so it was a grind until then. Once I figured it out, then it was easy street. Glad the video helped, what stage gave you the most trouble? 6-1 was by far the WORST stage in the game, and the rest was just a few attempts to get through it.

Ok here’s another HUGE TIP, It’s to do with the people around you, Many problems I ran Into was arguments, Make sure the person your playing with understand you and and that everyone that plays with you gets along with eachother, If you think about it overcooked is a team game make sure the people you play with get along, it helps a lot, When I played with people who understood eachother the game was less stressful cause we could switch tiles and work together, But if your playing with people that can’t get along and freak out easily, Try to understand each-other and help each other, And if there’s gonna be a huge fight take 5-10 minute break, That’s what worked for me,

I just started playing this game when it came out for PS plus, and am enjoying it quite a bit. XD My gaming friends, not so much. I can play it for hours, but they can't handle more than a few levels at a time, so I'm considering getting the second game, so I can play online with people.

Glad the videos helped! It can be difficult, but once you know the idea behind the level it helps a lot. If you haven't yet, the second one is a bit of an upgrade, but also MUCH more difficult lol. Have a good one!

I am still an amateur and I enjoy playing restaurant games on my phone... yet I find it hard to pick up stuff or put stuff down... maybe my switch joggle stick is too loose? I often end up picking up other things from the ground or putting things on the wrong counter nearby... anyone else having this sort of trouble...?

What system are you playing on? Haven't heard of that kind of problem, it might just be an issue on your platform. And nothing wrong with phone games, I'm usually the one with their head glues to their phone on the couch lol.

I was kind of with you at first. But I did end up enjoying it, mainly because of each maps gimmicks. Either way, at the low price of free, can't hurt to try it out! Sidenote: was able to get all 1000G in about 6 hours, and I could've cut that time down knowing there was a DASH from the start. Let me know if you try it!
