Hi Dennis, I’m so glad you have posted an update video. I was concerned for you as you were such a regular poster with your videos. Looking forward to see your flying video and how the modified prop performs. I’m sure the wing root fairing should be good for another 3 or 4 knots cruise, at the minimum. Best wishes, Graeme from Sydney, Australia.

Thanks Graeme! I’m looking forward to seeing what differences everything makes. It’s good to be back to making some videos

Good to see you back on line Dennis. Just a word of warning, I know you will do it any way but take it easy on the flight as you have been off for a long time and have carried out a mod that can effect the handling of your aircraft during the take off run. We have has rubbish weather here in the UK (wind, rain, wind & rain, sunny but only on a work day), hope it is now getting stable to help us mad pilots fly.

Thanks for the reminder, I’ll take it slow and cautious as usual. My weather is rubbish as well, mostly wind now is the issue…

Nice helmet, I should drive over and see you sometime, or I'll be looking for you to fly into LOO when you get it all sorted out. Al the Best, Ron

If you are going to build/make something, make it yourself. I like that. Yes, you can buy it for bla bla, but if you make it yourself, YOU have made it.

Absolutely!

Very cool update, would like to see you make those fairings. Are you planning on doing befor & after tests to see the difference? Will be interesting to see what difference the Prop mod makes too. Cheers.
@DTMinimax2 ай бұрын
Hey Leo, yea the first step is to compare the performance to what I had, then make the fairings and again see if there’s a difference.

@@DTMinimax I bet there will be, how much is the question ha ha. Cheers!

Nice job Sir. Did you install carb heat? Thank you
@DTMinimaxАй бұрын
The way this engine is designed, the oil circulates through a tube that wraps a number of times around the intake. Cools the oil and eliminates the need for carb heat

When I look up tactical helmet I see $300-$4000. Where did get yours?
@DTMinimax2 ай бұрын
I got mine on Amazon. There is a wide range of prices.

@@DTMinimax I think the helmet looks more like a bicycle helmet made to look tactical. A real tactical helmet would not have vent holes on the top.
@DTMinimax2 ай бұрын
@@echopapacharlie It’s definitely lighter weight like a bike helmet, which is what I was going for.
