Danny Hayes in known for his crazy adventures around the world on his Road King Special. He has taken his Harley-Davidson through hell and back. From the deserts of Australia to the beach of Mexico, he has conquered on and off road territory. The service team at Laidlaw's decided his bike needed a little R&R and gave it a full Overhaul! After the beating it's taken in Mexico the bike was in need of some serious repairs to get Danny and his Road King ready for his next adventure!

I can’t say to much cause I’m currently on the road filming and it’s brutal day after day - but Matt Laidlaw seriously is one of a kind and a credit to HD Worldwide ! He orchestrated the overhaul the sponsorship of parts which I will talk about in the series when I finish filming … and so grateful to HD to showing me some love … if I’ve proved anything HD’s and tough bikes virtually indestructible… but I’m only a third of the way into the series … I will honestly be surprised if Marine 1 comes back ..basically riding into hell 😱😱😱

great video! watching the abuse and rough riding that the m$b has put his Road King through has given me new found respect for the quality and endurance of Harley-Davidsons, that machine just keeps going. CONGRATULATIONS Danny on the rebuild, excellent job by Matt Laidlaw, Laidlaw's and Harley Davidson for finally stepping up for a customer, something Harley Davidson rarely does for any of their customers. They seem to only take care of those that can give them notoriety. I have to admit, it's a love-hate dealing with you, essentially I think because of your Narcissism. I mostly enjoy the adventures except when you exaggerate the drama. It comes across as ingenuous. Watching you is a study of a flawed personality trying his damness to overcome his flaws, sometimes succeeding, sometimes failing but trudging on! We all have flaws, but you show yours to all of us, that is strength in itself. Don't give up, in spite of the negative criticism, I'm sure most of us want you to succeed! All the best.

When Danny has finished riding this motorcycle, named "Marine 1". His final ride should be riding it to the Harley Museum and giving it to them to display. What makes it special is the video he has captured while riding the bike in his adventures. We get to see first hand what this bike went through and the history behind it.

I was hoping you would do a video about, Lane Splitting and all it's pro's and con's. And for the record, being I live on the east cost most of the year, lane slitting is frowned on. First! Danny certainly knows how to test the reliability of a Harley! The fact that that bike made it through all of those harsh riding conditions Danny put it through is a testament to Harley Davidson. Danny once mentioned in one of his Mexico vlogs about getting a screen for his oil cooler to protect it. With the Pan America Tires....I wonder...South America? :D

Matt, I am from San Diego but would like to get my RKS serviced in your dealership. I am not Danny Hayes but I feel like you got more passion to help out customers and you have more professional techs as well. Been to several local dealership in SD but they just tend to just brush me off like I am not serious for a modification. Looking for an upgrade to a Stage II.
